Yesterday, across the entire territory of the country, police officers deprived five drivers of their liberty, three of whom were driving under the influence of alcohol, one for driving despite having an active driving ban, and one for operating an unregistered vehicle without a driver’s license.
One driver each in Kavadarci, Kochani, and Debar was driving under the influence of alcohol. One driver in Kavadarci was operating a vehicle despite having a driving ban, while another driver in Kavadarci was driving an unregistered vehicle without a driver’s license.
After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate a vehicle without a valid driver’s license, not to drive if they have been issued a driving ban, and not to drive under the influence of alcohol, so that together we can contribute to safer traffic for everyone.
