Yesterday, across the entire territory of the country, police officers deprived six drivers of their liberty, five of whom were driving without a driver's license and one for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Of the five drivers who were driving without a license, two were minors – one in Skopje was riding a motorcycle, while another in Shtip was driving a passenger vehicle without a license. Two drivers in Gostivar were operating vehicles without a license, one of whom was also driving in the opposite direction. Additionally, one driver in Strumica was driving without a driver’s license, while one driver in Vinica was driving under the influence of alcohol.
After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to operate a vehicle without having passed the driving exam, or if they have been issued a measure prohibiting them from driving, or if they are under the influence of alcohol. Together, let us contribute to safer traffic.
