The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Astrit Iseni, attended the official celebration marking 30 years of presence of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Macedonia, held under the motto “30 Years Together for a Better Future.”

The Ministry of Internal Affairs extends its sincere congratulations to UNDP on the occasion of this important anniversary, which can be defined as 30 years of partnership, inclusion, and shared vision.

Over the past three decades, UNDP has been a consistent and reliable partner to state institutions, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, providing continuous support in reform processes, strengthening institutional capacities, and advancing public safety, the rule of law, and the protection of citizens’ rights.

The Ministry especially values its partnership with UNDP in the areas of police service modernization, digitalization of services, improvement of efficiency and transparency, as well as in initiatives aimed at strengthening social cohesion and community resilience.

The Ministry expresses its gratitude for this long-standing cooperation and reaffirms that these joint efforts will continue in the future—with a shared goal of building a stable, secure, and prosperous country, in the spirit of inclusion, partnership, and sustainable development.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs extends its heartfelt congratulations to UNDP for 30 years of successful partnership and commitment to a better future for all citizens.
