During the past 24 hours, police officers across the country deprived six drivers of their liberty for reckless driving. Of these, four were operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, while two were driving under the influence of alcohol.
In Bitola, two individuals were driving without a license, and one case each was recorded in Skopje and Gevgelija. One of the drivers in Bitola had previously caused a traffic accident by crashing into a parked vehicle.
One driver in Struga and one in Strumica were operating vehicles under the influence of alcohol. The driver in Strumica also caused a traffic accident by running off the road.
After full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all participants in traffic to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver’s license, not to drive if a driving ban has been imposed, and not to drive under the influence of alcohol, so that together we can contribute to safer traffic.
