Police officers from the Police Station in Delčevo, following prior operational intelligence, in collaboration with forestry inspectors from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy and the Forest Police, on April 14 and 15, 2026, at several locations in Delčevo and the village of Bigla, confiscated 19 cubic meters of illegally cut timber, including 5.19 m³ of pine wood and 13.86 m³ of oak wood.
The timber was seized by the Forest Police of Delčevo, and after the cases are fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed under Article 69 of the Forest Law against the legal entity - a sawmill in the village of Bigla, owned by V.S. (69) from the village of Leski, as well as against G.G. (65) and M.G. (69), both from the village of Bigla.
