During the past 24 hours across the entire territory of the country, police officers deprived five drivers of liberty for reckless driving. Of them, two (in Kumanovo and Debar) were driving without a valid driver’s license, one driver on the “Prijatelstvo” highway was driving at a speed exceeding the permitted limit, while two others (in Kichevo and Chashka) were driving despite having an active ban on operating a vehicle. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all road users to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver’s license, not to drive if a driving ban has been imposed, or under the influence of alcohol, and together contribute to safer traffic.
