On December 26, 2025, at 09:30, police officers from the Sector for Internal Affairs (SIA) Kumanovo arrested A.R. (45) from the village of Ropaljce, Municipality of Lipkovo. During a traffic control on the Kumanovo–Kriva Palanka main road, it was determined that he was driving a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” with Kumanovo license plates at a speed of 157 km/h in an area where the maximum permitted speed is 80 km/h.
On December 27, 2025, at 03:00 in Kičevo, police officers from the Kičevo Police Department arrested D.D. (37) from the village of Drugovo, Kičevo region. During a traffic control on “Arso Vojvoda” Street in Kičevo, a passenger vehicle “Honda” with Kičevo license plates was stopped, which he was driving, and following the measures taken it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.79 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
On December 27, 2025, at 03:00 in Kavadarci, police officers from the Kavadarci Police Department arrested J.M. (23) from the village of Vatasha, Kavadarci region. During a traffic control on “7 September” Street in Kavadarci, a passenger vehicle “Škoda” with Kumanovo license plates was stopped, which he was driving, and it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.77 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
On December 27, 2025, at 02:16 in Kumanovo, police officers from SIA Kumanovo arrested I.C. (47) from Kumanovo. During a traffic control on “Narodna Revolucija” Street in Kumanovo, a passenger vehicle “Peugeot” with Kumanovo license plates was stopped, which he was driving, and it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.82 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
On December 27, 2025, at 02:10 on the A1 motorway, at the Kalaslari interchange near Veles, police officers from SIA Veles arrested Z.D. (42) from the village of Dolno Kalaslari. During a traffic control, a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” with Veles license plates was stopped, which he was driving, and it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 2.57 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
On December 26, 2025, at 22:34 in Valandovo, police officers from the Valandovo Police Department arrested N.S. (68) from Skopje. During a traffic control on “Vardarska” Street in Valandovo, a passenger vehicle “Ford” with Skopje license plates was stopped, which he was driving, and it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.62 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
On December 26, 2025, at 20:20, police officers from SIA Veles arrested M.J. (59) from the village of Rashtani, Veles region. Earlier, on “Rashtanski Pat” Street in Veles, while riding an unregistered “Tomos” moped, he lost control and fell onto the roadway. During the measures taken in connection with the accident, it was determined that M.J. was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, with 2.87 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
On December 26, 2025, at 21:50, police officers from SIA Veles arrested B.N. (27) from Čaška. Earlier, on the regional road Veles–village of Izvor, he ran off the road while driving a passenger vehicle “BMW” with Štip license plates. During the measures taken in connection with the accident, it was determined that B.N. was driving under the influence of alcohol, with 3.01 promille of alcohol measured in his blood.
After full documentation of the cases, criminal charges will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – “reckless driving of a motor vehicle”.
