On 27 December 2025 at 21:15 in Skopje, in the Kisela Voda area, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived B.K. (60) from Skopje of his liberty. At around 17:00 on “Dimo Hadzi Dimov” Street, a traffic accident occurred between a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Passat” with Skopje license plates, driven by B.K., and a cargo vehicle “Nissan” with Skopje license plates, driven by E.E. (31) from the village of Morani, Studeničani Municipality, after which a 19-year-old pedestrian, A.S., was also struck.
As a result of the accident, A.S. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje, while the driver E.E. and his passengers K.K. (30) and M.E. (19), both from the village of Morani, sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the “St. Naum Ohridski” City General Hospital in Skopje. An on-site investigation was carried out by an investigative team, and after the measures taken, B.K. was deprived of liberty and detained at a police station. Following full documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed under Article 300 of the Criminal Code.
