Two individuals from Skopje were detained, and during a search of the vehicle they were traveling in, hunting rifles were discovered.

On June 12, 2026, at 11:45 PM, on the road between the villages of Shishево and Grčец in the municipality of Saraj, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Police Department arrested N.S. (54) from the village of Saraj and R.S. (58) from the village of Krušopек. During the inspection of a Hyundai passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, driven by R.S. with N.S. as a passenger, two Baikal hunting rifles, caliber 12 mm, 22 hunting cartridges, and other items were found and seized from the vehicle. 

The individuals were held at the police station, and after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will follow.
