A person who desecrated graves at the cemetery in Butel has been taken into custody, and appropriate charges will follow

  
On June 13, 2026, at 5:50 PM in the area of Šuto Orizari in Skopje, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Police Department apprehended K.K. (24) from Skopje. Specifically, on June 12, 2026, at 5:00 PM, an employee at the City Cemetery Butel reported to the Skopje Police Department that he had seen K.K. damaging 11 graves with a metal object and fleeing the scene. After measures were taken, he was located and brought to the police station. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
