Last night (12.06.2026) in Strumica, police officers from the Strumica Police Department detained a 59-year-old woman from a village in the Strumica area. According to the report, on 11.06.2026 at around 22:30, she physically assaulted her daughter-in-law and her minor grandson in the family home. She was held at the Strumica Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Strumica was informed of the case.
On 11.06.2026 at 23:30 in Gostivar, police officers from the Gostivar Department of Internal Affairs detained Q.I. (53) from Gostivar, acting on a previous report that at around 20:25 he physically assaulted his 30-year-old son in the family home and then threatened his son and the son’s mother with a sharp object.
On 11.06.2026, police officers from the Bitola Police Department detained I.P. (35) from Bitola, acting on a previous report that he physically assaulted his 34-year-old wife, causing her injuries.
On 11.06.2026 at 15:00, police officers from the Veles Police Department detained B.S. (28) from Veles. According to a report by his 48-year-old mother, he came to the family home, made threats, damaged part of the inventory, and caused fear among other family members. He also violated a Basic Court Veles order prohibiting him from threatening domestic violence, harassing, disturbing, calling, contacting, or otherwise directly or indirectly communicating with his parents, as well as approaching within 100 meters of their residence. A public prosecutor was informed of the incident.
On 11.06.2026 at 21:00, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department detained D.N. (39) from Kumanovo because at around 17:00 he physically assaulted his 62-year-old mother in the family home. According to the report, she had been subjected to psychological and physical abuse by her son over a longer period.
On 11.06.2026 at around 23:40, a 41-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that she had been physically assaulted in the Skopje area by her husband, A.A.
Measures are being taken to fully clarify the cases, and after they are completely documented, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
