Two spouses from Skopje have been detained; the murder of a doctor in Avtokomanda has been clarified

Police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested M.V. (65) and his wife S.V. (59), both from Skopje, on suspicion that on March 21, 2024, in a parking lot in the Skopje neighborhood of Avtokomanda, M.V. killed A.T., while S.V. assisted him by concealing the evidence. Following measures and actions taken by the officers from the Violent Crime Unit of the Skopje Police Department, and based on several orders issued by the public prosecutor, evidence was secured and a criminal complaint was filed against M.V. for the crime of "murder" under Article 123, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, and against S.V. for aiding in the commission of the crime.

The suspect S.V. had arranged to meet A.T. in the parking lot in Avtokomanda and entered his car, shortly after which M.V. arrived, pulled A.T. from the vehicle, and stabbed him nine times with a knife, resulting in A.T.'s death. The couple together placed the deceased's body in the car, after which M.V. drove the vehicle to the parking lot of the Zheleznara Polyclinic, where he transferred the deceased to the driver's seat. The suspect used a tool to wipe away the evidence from the car, after which both of them left the scene of the incident.
