During the past 24 hours across the entire country, police officers deprived 11 drivers of their liberty for reckless driving. Of these, nine were driving without a valid driver’s license (three in Skopje, two each in Tetovo and Struga, and one each in Prilep and Kumanovo). One driver in Prilep was driving under the influence of alcohol, and one driver in Skopje was operating a vehicle despite having an active driving ban.
After the cases are fully documented, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without a valid license, not to drive if they are under a driving ban or under the influence of alcohol, and together to contribute to safer traffic.
