On December 2, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., police officers from the Tetovo Traffic Safety Police Station arrested J.A. (24) from the village of Novo Selo, Bogovinje municipality. Earlier, she had driven her passenger vehicle, a “Volkswagen Touran” with Tetovo license plates, and crashed into a parked vehicle, a “Volkswagen Golf” also with Tetovo license plates, owned by V.U. (23) from Tetovo.
During the police procedures, it was confirmed that she was under the influence of alcohol, registering 1.55 ‰ (promille) of alcohol in her blood. After fully documenting the case, a criminal charge will be filed against her under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code — “Reckless Driving of a Motor Vehicle.”
