Today (02.12.2025) in Kočani, police officers from the Kočani Police Station for Road Traffic Safety held an educational–preventive campaign on the topic: “Wear a seat belt – every time you travel”, aimed at raising awareness about the use of seat belts by drivers and passengers. On the topic “Do not use pyrotechnic devices”, police officers from OVR Probištip and a general practitioner held a meeting with the students of the satellite primary school “Kiril and Metodij” in Zletovo. The main goal of the lecture was to help students develop greater awareness of the risks and consequences of using firecrackers and other pyrotechnic devices, as well as the legal regulations related to unauthorized possession and use of pyrotechnics. At the same school, the topic “Bullying and peer violence” was also discussed, where students were informed about the types of bullying, the reasons for its occurrence, ways to detect it, sanctions, and preventive measures.
Meanwhile, in the central urban area of Berovo, police officers from the Berovo Police Station for Road Traffic Safety carried out a preventive activity aimed at raising awareness among drivers regarding the use of winter equipment.
Today (02.12.2025) at the kindergarten “Dimche Mirchev” in Veles, the Prevention Unit at SIA Veles carried out a preventive–educational activity for preschool children. Through direct communication and interaction, children learned about the importance of the police officer’s profession and its role in ensuring public safety, as well as about the work of the traffic police and traffic rules for young pedestrians.
In the territory of SIA Strumica yesterday (01.12.2025), police officers from the Prevention Unit at SIA Strumica, within the campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”, carried out a preventive activity with the users of the Day Care Center for Active Aging in the village of Turnovo, municipality of Bosilovo. During the activities, the users were informed about the forms of domestic violence, how to recognize it, and how to report it.
Meanwhile, today and yesterday in the area of Skopje, the Prevention Unit at SIA Skopje implemented preventive activities on school safety and “Beware of phone scams”. Today, on 02.12.2025, in the area of the Police Station Center, a preventive activity was carried out aimed at informing and educating the elderly population, who are the most frequent victims of phone scams. The purpose of this activity is to raise awareness among this group and provide ways to protect themselves from this type of crime. On 01.12.2025, at the primary school “Brakja Miladinovci” in Aerodrom, an educational–preventive workshop on school safety was held with the students from the prevention club.
