On January 23, 2026, at around 2:00 PM, on “Jadranska Magistrala” Boulevard in Skopje, police officers from the Unit for Illicit Trade within SIA Skopje stopped a passenger vehicle, a “Passat” with Skopje license plates, driven by D.B. (31) from Kumanovo.
During a search of the vehicle, more than five kilograms of marijuana were found and seized in the trunk.
D.B. was deprived of liberty, and a criminal complaint will be filed against him under expedited procedure pursuant to Article 215 of the Criminal Code.
