On February 10, 2026, at 4:15 PM, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that copper cables, totaling two kilometers in length and worth approximately 200,000 euros, had been stolen from a construction site in the Center area, where work was being done on an underground boulevard over the course of a month. Following investigative measures, and due to reasonable grounds for suspicion of the criminal offense of "theft," police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained T.M. (68) from Skopje, who was employed as security for the site.
An inspection was conducted by an investigative team from the Skopje Police Department, and measures are being taken to resolve the case, after which an appropriate report will follow.
