On 22.12.2025 at 16:20, the Skopje Police Department was notified that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of “Indira Gandhi” Street and the service road connecting it with “Washingtonska” Street. The accident involved a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” with Skopje license plates, driven by a 16-year-old from Skopje, and a passenger vehicle “Audi” with Skopje license plates, driven by R.A. (21) from Skopje.
As a result of the accident, R.A. sustained bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the City General Hospital “8 September”. After conducting an on-site investigation, and due to suspicion that the minor endangered traffic safety and committed a criminal offense under Article 297 of the Criminal Code, on the order of a public prosecutor, the minor was deprived of liberty.
In the presence of a parent and a lawyer, an official interview was conducted with the minor at a police station, and after full documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
