The Ministry of Internal Affairs shares the analysis from the Corruption Assessment Report for North Macedonia 2025 prepared by MCMS, which shows a significant increase in citizens' trust in the work of the Ministry. According to the report, overall trust in the Ministry reaches 50.3%, which is significantly higher than 33.9% in 2023, clearly indicating that measures for transparency, accountability, and professionalism are yielding results.
Additionally, citizens' evaluations of the perception of corruption among officials show a downward trend, indicating improved institutional discipline and successful efforts to reduce corrupt practices.
The public also recognizes the Ministry and the Government as institutions with the highest trust in addressing corruption, reinforcing the Ministry's role as a credible partner in the fight for legality and order.
These positive trends motivate the Ministry to continue intensifying reforms, educational activities, and accountability efforts, aiming to further increase citizens' trust in the institution.
