On May 17, 2026, at 12:50 AM in the village of Bojane, Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained M.B. (19) from the village of Bojane on reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal act of "murder" under Article 123 of the Criminal Code. Previously, his father, I.B., called the emergency hotline 192 and reported that M.B. had confessed to him that on May 15, 2026, in a forest near the village of Saraj, he shot and killed B.D. (18) from Bojane. The police officers took M.B. to the police station, and the body of B.D. along with the gun used in the murder were also found.
After documenting the case, an appropriate criminal charge will be filed against M.B.
