SVR Strumica has filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Strumica against D.R. (41) from Strumica on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “embezzlement in office” under Article 354 of the Criminal Code.
The reported person, in his capacity as president of a hunting association from Strumica, with the intent to obtain unlawful material gain, during 2024 and 2025 repeatedly withdrew larger amounts of money from the association’s transaction account, for which he was also an authorized signatory, and appropriated the funds for himself without proper justification or accounting documentation.
Through these actions, D.R. obtained unlawful material gain in the total amount of 1,326,787 denars, causing damage to the hunting association in the same amount.
