The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Kičevo filed criminal charges against a legal entity from a village in the Municipality of Makedonski Brod and against B.B. (21) from Kičevo, manager of the legal entity, on suspicion of committing two criminal offenses of “theft.” Charges were also filed against B.B. (45) from the village of Plasnica on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of “performing public transport without a license” and “use of a document with false content,” as well as against G.P. (50) from Kičevo, an employee of the Public Enterprise “National Forests,” on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “negligent performance of duty.”
During 2024 and 2025, the first reported party concluded purchase agreements for firewood with the Public Enterprise “National Forests,” branch Lopushnik – Kičevo. On 27.08.2025, based on those agreements, the fourth reported person, G.P., prepared a dispatch note containing false information. The third reported person, B.B., then used this document as valid proof in legal transactions and transported the wood using a “MAN” cargo vehicle without possessing a license for public transport.
In addition, the reported legal entity committed theft of an extra 852.5 cubic meters of firewood, causing material damage to the budget of the Public Enterprise “National Forests” in the amount of approximately 3,191,760 denars.
