On 24 August 2026, at 17:25, in the village of Morani, Skopje area, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Police Department, acting on a court warrant, arrested B.A. (20) from the village of Studenichani, Skopje.
Earlier, while driving a Volkswagen Golf with Skopje registration plates, he failed to stop at a police stop signal. Shortly afterwards, he crashed the vehicle into a concrete wall and, while reversing, also hit a Škoda Yeti owned by the Ministry of Interior.
Following his arrest, additional checks established that he was wanted to serve a two-year prison sentence for criminal offences under Articles 292 and 288 of the Criminal Code.
The person will be transferred to the competent penitentiary institution to serve his sentence.
