On 27.05.2026, police officers from the Traffic Police Department in Kavadarci carried out a preventive activity under the slogan “Drive Carefully, Drive Responsibly.” During the activity, drivers were reminded of the importance of strictly respecting traffic rules and regulations. The aim of these activities is to increase traffic culture and awareness among drivers in order to improve road safety and reduce the number of traffic accidents. Printed educational materials prepared in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety and the Faculty of Security in Skopje were also distributed.
Preventive activities for road safety were also conducted today (28.05.2026) in Makedonska Kamenica and Sveti Nikole. Police officers from the Police Department in Makedonska Kamenica implemented activities as part of the campaign “Helmet or Head – the Choice is Yours,” while police officers from the Sveti Nikole Police Department carried out activities within the campaign “Pass the Test, Don’t Take Risks.”
Also today, a preventive and educational campaign under the motto “Protect Forests from Fires – Flames Are Unstoppable” was conducted in Berovo. During the activity, citizens were informed that open fires endanger human lives, animals, and forest resources, while also consuming significant human and material resources. The main goal of the project is to raise public safety awareness and strengthen trust and cooperation between the police and citizens.
