On 28 May 2026 at 7:10 p.m., officers from the Mobile Unit for Compensatory Measures within the Department for Border Affairs and Migration arrested M.I. (24) from Kumanovo.
Earlier that day, on the highway from the Tabanovce Border Crossing towards Kumanovo, officers stopped a passenger vehicle “Fiat” with Kumanovo license plates, driven by M.I. During the inspection, several packages containing a white powdery substance were found in the vehicle.
Checks carried out by the police established that the person is serving a prison sentence and was currently on temporary leave.
A public prosecutor was informed about the incident, and after the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against the individual.
