During the past 24 hours, police officers across the country arrested 15 drivers for the criminal offence of reckless driving.
Of those arrested, 10 were driving without having passed the required driving test, including two each in Skopje, Tetovo, and Kumanovo, and one each in Prilep, Sveti Nikole, Veles, and Kavadarci.
Additionally, one driver each in Skopje, Bitola, Makedonska Kamenica, and Kavadarci was found driving under the influence of alcohol, while one driver in Tetovo was operating a vehicle despite being subject to a driving ban.
Upon completion of the investigations, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against all offenders.
The Ministry of Interior urges all road users to comply with traffic laws and regulations, not to drive without a valid driver's licence, not to drive while subject to a driving ban, and never to drive under the influence of alcohol. By acting responsibly, everyone can contribute to safer roads for all.
