On 10 May 2026 at 23:30, a 53-year-old woman from Kriva Palanka reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Macedonia in Skopje that on 7 May 2026 at around 13:00, following a prior argument, she had been physically assaulted by her daughter M.M.
On 11 May 2026 at 00:30 in Skopje, police officers arrested V.T. (40) from Skopje after a report filed by his 61-year-old father stating that, following an argument at the family home, he had physically attacked him.
On 10 May 2026 at 20:30, a 57-year-old man from Skopje reported to the police that, following an argument at the family home, his minor son had threatened his life.
On 9 May 2026 at 22:45 in Berovo, police officers from the Berovo Police Station arrested D.K. (47) from the Berovo area after a prior report stated that he had violated a temporary protection measure against domestic violence issued by the Basic Court Berovo and had harassed, insulted, and abused his wife.
On 10 May 2026 at 15:35 in Veles, police officers from the Sector for Internal Affairs Veles arrested a 49-year-old woman from Veles after a prior report that she had first threatened her 52-year-old sister through messages and then gone to her yard and continued making threats. She was detained at a police station, while a public prosecutor and the Center for Social Work Veles were notified.
Measures are being taken to clarify the cases, and after full documentation of the incidents, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
