The Minister of Internal Affairs, Panče Toshkovski, today in Inžikovo and Butel placed fresh flowers at the memorials dedicated to the members of the Macedonian police who lost their lives in the terrorist action in the Kumanovo "Divo Naselje" in May 2015.
In a sign of respect for their sacrifice, Minister Toshkovski paid tribute to the eight Macedonian heroes – Ljubiša Aranđelović, Boban Ivanović, Goran Ilijevski, Žarko Kuzmanovski, Isamedin Osmani, Sašo Samojlovski, Nenad Serafimovski, and Goran Stojmenović, who laid down their lives in defense of the state and the safety of its citizens.
Toshkovski emphasized that their courage, selflessness, and love for the homeland remain a lasting symbol of honor and dignity.
"This day reminds us of the high price of freedom, but also of the strength of the Macedonian spirit when defending the state. It is our duty to remember, to honor, and to preserve the truth about their bravery," highlighted Minister Toshkovski.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to dignify the culture of remembrance and respect for the fallen members of the Macedonian police who dedicated their lives to the safety and stability of the state.
