Toskovski from Kumanovo: The heroes of "Divo Naselje" will forever live in the collective memory of the Macedonian citizens

Today, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Panche Toskovski, attended the commemoration of the 11th anniversary of the tragic events in Kumanovo's "Divo Naselje," honoring the eight members of the Macedonian police who lost their lives in the terrorist action in 2015.

Minister Toskovski laid fresh flowers at the memorial site within the precinct of the Kumanovo Police Department, dedicated to the fallen officers – Ljubisha Arangelovic, Boban Ivanovic, Goran Ilievski, Zharko Kuzmanovski, Isamedin Osmani, Sasho Samojlovski, Nenad Serafimoski, and Goran Stojmenovic.

As part of the commemoration, the minister also attended the memorial futsal tournament "Heroes Live Forever," organized in honor of their sacrifice, courage, and love for the homeland.

"They were brave members of the Macedonian police who stood in defense of the state, the safety, and the peace of the citizens during the most difficult moments. Their sacrifice remains etched in the collective memory of the Macedonian citizens as a symbol of honor, dignity, and unwavering courage.
Our duty is to never forget them and to honor their memory with dignity. Macedonia will be eternally grateful to them," emphasized Minister Toskovski.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs will continue to honor the memory of the fallen defenders and police officers who laid down their lives in service to the homeland and the safety of the citizens.

May their glory be eternal.
