Today (April 25, 2026), between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM, in the areas of Centar, Aerodrom, Bit Pazar, and Chair in Skopje, the traffic safety department of the Skopje Police conducted an intensified enforcement operation targeting violations by drivers of electric bicycles, tricycles, quadricycles, and motorcycles, resulting in 105 drivers being sanctioned. Of these, one driver was sanctioned for operating a motorcycle with an inappropriate category, 11 measures were issued for riding an electric bicycle without a driver's license, 50 sanctions for riding without a protective helmet, one measure for operating an unregistered motorcycle, eight sanctions for not carrying a traffic permit, one measure for moving on an inappropriate surface, and 33 sanctions for other violations.
During the enforcement operation, one unregistered motorcycle that had been unregistered for over six months was temporarily seized.
