The Kriva Palanka Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against S.V., M.S., D.S., and A.K., all from Kriva Palanka, on suspicion of committing the criminal offences of Violence and Obstructing a Public Official in the Performance of Official Duties. On 11 April 2026, following an argument in the parking area of a petrol station in Kriva Palanka, the suspects physically assaulted D.M. from the Kriva Palanka area and then threatened police officers while they were performing official duties.
During the night of 18/19 July 2026, police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested V.R. (42) and F.R. (21), both from Skopje, in the Bit Pazar area after marijuana was found and seized from them. Appropriate charges will be filed after the cases are fully documented.
On 18 July 2026 at around 4:00 p.m., a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Kemal Sejfula Street and Pavle Ilić Street in Skopje involving a Yugo passenger vehicle driven by E.B. (71) from Skopje and two electric scooters operated by two 15-year-old boys from Skopje. On 18 July 2026 at 2:45 p.m., on a local road in the Ohrid village of Dolno Lakočerej, a Volkswagen Golf driven by K.P. (38) collided with an Aprilia moped ridden by a 16-year-old from Ohrid. The moped rider and his 15-year-old passenger sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at St. Erasmus Hospital in Ohrid. Police established that the car driver had 1.20‰ alcohol in his blood.
