Strumica Police Department filed criminal charges against B.P. (69) on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors." On 01.03.2026, police officers searched a person from Strumica and found and seized cocaine, which had previously been purchased from the suspect.


Bitola Police Department filed criminal charges against S.Gj. (37) from Prilep on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Violence." On 06.07.2026 in Prilep, the suspect physically assaulted G.K. from Prilep, causing bodily injuries.


Kumanovo Police Department filed criminal charges against G.A. (43) from Kumanovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Causing General Danger." On 08.07.2026, following a verbal argument in front of a residential building in Kumanovo, the suspect threatened I.M. and his two sons with a handgun and then fired three shots into the air.


Kumanovo Police Department filed criminal charges against D.S. (38) from a village in the Municipality of Staro Nagoričane on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unlawful Appropriation of Goods under Temporary Protection, Cultural Heritage or Natural Rarity." The suspect unlawfully appropriated a ceramic vessel (pithos), classified as cultural heritage, from the archaeological site "Mutalovo" in the area of Algunja village, Municipality of Staro Nagoričane, and kept it in his home.


Kočani Police Department filed criminal charges against Sh.A. (20) from Kočani on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Endangering Security." On 21.06.2026, in the family home in Kočani, the suspect physically assaulted his 74-year-old grandfather after asking him for money and being refused, and subsequently threatened him.


On 15.07.2026 at 02:30 hrs in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Police Department deprived M.I. (18) and a 16-year-old juvenile, both from Bitola, of their liberty after marijuana was found during the search of M.I. Appropriate charges will be filed after the case has been fully documented.


On 14.07.2026 at 14:30 hrs, a woman from Prilep reported to the Prilep Police Department that she had begun communicating in February this year with a person via a social media platform, who subsequently asked her for money, allegedly for the treatment of his sick child. The complainant transferred approximately MKD 700,000 on several occasions before realizing that she had been defrauded. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


Kočani Police Department filed criminal charges against S.K. (52) from Kočani on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Endangering Security." On 30.06.2026, in front of a retail facility in Orizari village, Kočani, the suspect threatened M.N. and his family.


On 14.07.2026 at 11:50 hrs, on "St. Nektarij Bitolski" Street in Bitola, police officers deprived J.V. (30) from Bitola of his liberty after marijuana was found during a search. Appropriate charges will follow upon completion of the case documentation.


On 14.07.2026 at 19:30 hrs, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that a traffic accident occurred on the Tetovo–Skopje motorway, near the Glumovo toll station, involving a Volkswagen Caddy with Skopje registration plates, driven by A.I. (33) from Skopje, and a Volkswagen Golf with Ohrid registration plates, driven by L.A. (39) from Patiška Reka village, Skopje.

A juvenile passenger travelling in the Volkswagen Golf sustained serious bodily injuries, while both drivers, passenger M.A. (24) and another juvenile passenger from the same vehicle sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Mother Teresa Clinical Centre and the "8 Septemvri" General City Hospital in Skopje.

An on-site inspection was carried out by an inspection team from the Skopje Police Department.


On 15.07.2026 at 00:20 hrs, at the Deve Bair Border Crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers deprived F.J. (45) from Türkiye of his liberty after border checks established that he had presented forged Green Cards for a Mercedes truck with a semi-trailer bearing Turkish registration plates. Following full documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.


On 14/15.07.2026, at several locations in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department deprived P.T. (18), N.M. (23) and S.K.P. (23), all from Skopje, of their liberty after powdery substances and marijuana were found and seized from them. Appropriate charges will follow after the cases have been fully documented.

On 14.07.2026 at 19:50 hrs, the Idrizovo Correctional Facility reported to the Skopje Police Department that at approximately 10:50 hrs, during a search conducted upon the return of inmate T.S. (50) from Skopje from temporary leave, a brown powdery substance was found and seized. Following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 14.07.2026 at 05:40 hrs, it was reported to the Gostivar Police Station that near a hospitality establishment in Gostivar, N.S. (45) assaulted his 43-year-old wife, using a sharp object. A pre-trial judge ordered detention for N.S., after which he was transferred to the Skopje Correctional Facility.


On 14.07.2026 at 10:45 hrs, on "Braća Ginoski" Street in Gostivar, police officers deprived B.U. (50) from Gostivar of his liberty due to aggressive behaviour towards police officers performing official duties. Following documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 14.07.2026, the Veles Police Department received a report that at 09:20 hrs, on "Blagoj Gjorev" Street in Veles, a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Veles registration plates, driven by R.I. (41) from Gorno Jabolčište village, Municipality of Čaška, struck Lj.N. (76) from Veles.

The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Veles General Hospital. Following instructions from a public prosecutor, an on-site inspection was conducted by an inspection team from the Veles Police Department.


On 14.07.2026 at 11:25 hrs, it was reported to the Kavadarci Police Department that S.S. (62) from Kavadarci had been admitted to the General Hospital in Kavadarci with serious bodily injuries.

According to the report, he sustained the injuries while performing work duties at a construction site in Kavadarci. A public prosecutor was informed, and an inspection team from the Kavadarci Police Department conducted an on-site investigation.


On 15.07.2026 at 02:15 hrs, police officers from the Veles Police Department deprived E.H. (26) from Veles of his liberty after he behaved aggressively towards police officers performing official duties on "Blagoj Gjorev" Street in Veles. During a search, a knife was found and seized. It was also established that E.H. was under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of 1.00‰.

He was detained at a police station, a public prosecutor was notified, and appropriate criminal charges will be filed upon completion of the case documentation.


On 14.07.2026 at 18:10 hrs, police officers from the Kriva Palanka Police Department deprived D.J. (31) from Kriva Palanka of his liberty after he behaved aggressively and threatened his parents. Appropriate charges will follow upon completion of the case documentation.


On 14.07.2026 at 14:50 hrs, M.S. (54) from Kriva Palanka reported to the Kriva Palanka Police Department that he had found a hand grenade near a road in Trnovo village. During the day, the explosive device will be safely removed by a bomb disposal technician from the Protection and Rescue Directorate.


On 14.07.2026 at 23:50 hrs, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department deprived H.V. (26) from a village in the Municipality of Staro Nagoričane of his liberty after he physically assaulted his 57-year-old mother. Appropriate charges will follow after the case has been fully documented.


On 14.07.2026, at approximately 23:00 hrs, F.V. (34) from the Czech Republic reported to the Skopje Police Department that while he and P.A. (28) from India, residing in the Czech Republic, were in a hospitality establishment in the Centar municipality, he was physically assaulted by a person whom he believes to be the owner of the establishment.

Subsequently, P.A. broke several glasses and was taken to a police station. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 14.07.2026, at approximately 23:40 hrs, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that a 16-year-old girl had been physically assaulted by A.S. in the Kisela Voda municipality. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 14.07.2026 at 16:10 hrs, on "Partizanska" Street in Ohrid, police officers deprived E.B. (22), V.O. (19) and P.O. (22), all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of their liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Theft." Appropriate criminal charges will be filed after the case has been fully documented.


On 14.07.2026 at 21:00 hrs, in the Plitišta neighbourhood of Struga, police officers deprived D.U. (42) from Struga of his liberty after officers from the Criminal Police found and seized seven packages containing a white powdery substance during a search. Appropriate charges will follow upon completion of the case documentation.

On 15.07.2026 at 01:30 hrs, A.K. (33) from Mralino village, Skopje, reported to the Skopje Police Department that he had been physically assaulted by D.K. from Kadino village, Skopje, while at a playground in Mralino village. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 14.07.2026 at 18:00 hrs, S.K. (48) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that he had been physically assaulted by his neighbour in the hallway of a residential building in the Čair municipality. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 14.07.2026 at 23:40 hrs, D.V. (31) from the Skopje area reported to the Skopje Police Department that he had been physically assaulted by I.S. (30) from Skopje in Volkovo village. Following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 15.07.2026 at 06:40 hrs, police officers from the Štip Police Department deprived S.D. (38) from Štip of his liberty following a report that he had physically assaulted his minor son at the family home. Appropriate charges will follow upon completion of the case documentation.


On 14.07.2026 at 19:10 hrs, police officers from the Štip Police Department deprived R.S. (39) from Štip of his liberty following a report that at approximately 18:30 hrs, in front of the family home of his 35-year-old former wife, he had thrown hard objects and subsequently physically assaulted her. Appropriate charges will be filed after the case has been fully documented.


On 14.07.2026 at 21:10 hrs, police officers from the Skopje Police Department conducted an official interview with M.I. (42) from Skopje following a report by his 36-year-old former wife alleging that, during the period from 2023 until 03.07.2026, he had physically and psychologically abused their minor children. Appropriate charges will follow after the case has been fully documented.


On 14.07.2026 at 17:40 hrs, police officers from the Skopje Police Department conducted an official interview with M.J. (44) from Skopje following a report that he had physically assaulted his 39-year-old wife in their family home in the Aerodrom municipality. Appropriate charges will be filed upon completion of the case documentation.


On 14.07.2026 at 15:00 hrs, at the Qafë Thanë Border Crossing, police officers deprived H.A. (25) from Albania of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Aggravated Theft." Following documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 14.07.2026 at 19:00 hrs, R.I. (48) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that at approximately 17:50 hrs, while performing his duties as an employee of the Public Utility Company "Komunalna Higiena", he was physically assaulted on "Madžari" Street by B.P. (52) from Skopje, who subsequently followed him by vehicle to his home. According to the report, R.I. also heard gunshots. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
