On 19 July 2026 at 13:40, M.Sh. (56) from Kosovo reported to the Bit Pazar Police Station that his wife F.Sh.T., her brother U.T., and his wife Gj.K. were missing, as he had been unable to contact them after they had left Skopje International Airport by vehicle on 18 July 2026 at 22:15.

Immediately after the missing persons report was filed, teams from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs, including officers from the Chair and Centar Police Departments and the Intervention Police Unit, reviewed footage from the Safe City camera system in order to determine the route taken by the missing persons and the vehicle they were using. A drone was also deployed along the route, after it had been established that the vehicle had not left the country through the Blace Border Crossing.

On 19 July 2026 at 22:35, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on the Blace Border Crossing–Skopje motorway, which is closed to traffic and currently under construction, a Mercedes passenger vehicle bearing German registration plates had veered off the road and overturned.

As a result of the injuries sustained, the driver, U.T. (64) from Kosovo, residing in Germany, and the passengers F.Sh.T. (56) from Kosovo and Gj.K. (54) from Türkiye, both residing in Germany, died at the scene. Their deaths were confirmed by an Emergency Medical Service physician. An on-site investigation was conducted by a public prosecutor and an inspection team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs. By order of the public prosecutor, the bodies of the deceased were sent for autopsy.

On 20 July 2026 at 03:15, it was reported to the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Jažince–Tetovo regional road, in the village of Poroj, Tetovo region, involving a Seat passenger vehicle with Tetovo registration plates, driven by R.R. (55) from the village of Slatino, and a Volkswagen Golf passenger vehicle with Tetovo registration plates, driven by E.N. (39) from the village of Poroj.

Both drivers sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Tetovo Clinical Hospital. An on-site inspection was conducted by an inspection team from the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs.

On 19 July 2026 at 12:35, it was reported to the Gostivar Department of Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on “Živko Brajkoski” Street in Gostivar, involving a Toyota passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates, driven by S.I. (49) from Gostivar, and a Kawasaki motorcycle with Gostivar registration plates, operated by S.Gj. (26) from Gostivar.

The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the hospital in Gostivar. An on-site inspection was conducted by an inspection team from the Gostivar Department of Internal Affairs.

On 19 July 2026 at 10:30, police officers from the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs deprived O.S. (47) from Tetovo of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that he had threatened his 76-year-old father in the family home and had damaged part of the household furniture.

Following his arrest, O.S. underwent an alcohol breath test, which showed a blood alcohol concentration of 3.22‰. After the case has been fully documented, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

On 19 July 2026 at 15:40, on “Nikola Parapunov” Street in Gostivar, police officers deprived a 16-year-old juvenile from Gostivar of his liberty on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offence of “unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.”

Earlier, at 12:10, A.S. (26) reported that during the night a Volkswagen Golf passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates, owned by her husband Z.S. (31), had been taken from the Vardar river quay.

At approximately 15:10, the vehicle, with visible damage and the key in the ignition, was found by a relative of the owner in a parking area in the Maleardi neighbourhood, after which it was returned to the owner against a receipt. An appropriate submission will follow once the case has been fully documented.

On 19 July 2026 at 23:40, B.M. (48) from Gostivar, a journalist and owner of a local television station in Gostivar, reported to the Gostivar Department of Internal Affairs that at approximately 19:30, on “Ilindenska” Street in Gostivar, while carrying out his professional duties, A.L. from Gostivar threatened him and attempted to seize his camera.

According to the report, the likely motive for the incident was a previously published photo news item by the journalist. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 19 July 2026 at 23:20, on “Braća Gjinoski” Street in Gostivar, police officers from the Gostivar Road Traffic Safety Police Department stopped a Citroën passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates, driven by S.M. (53) from Gostivar.

During the procedure, S.M. behaved aggressively towards the police officers and threatened them, after which he was taken to a police station. Once the case has been fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed against him.

On 19 July 2026 at 03:10, in Kočani, police officers from the Kočani Department of Internal Affairs deprived D.B. (35) from the Vinica area of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that at approximately 00:30, at the municipal swimming pool, following a prior disagreement, he had physically assaulted P.I. (30) from Vinica.

According to the report, later that same night, he also sent threats via a social media application to the 61-year-old father of P.I. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Kočani was notified, and an appropriate submission will follow after the case has been fully documented.

On 19 July 2026 at 14:00, in the Vinica area, police officers from the Vinica Department of Internal Affairs deprived I.N. (39) of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that on 18 July 2026 at approximately 23:00, in the family home, he had attempted to physically assault his 35-year-old wife, but had been prevented from doing so by their children.

A public prosecutor from the Kočani Public Prosecutor’s Office was notified, and an appropriate submission will follow after the case has been fully documented.

On 19 July 2026 at 14:05, in Kočani, police officers from the Kočani Department of Internal Affairs conducted an official interview with Z.M. (39) from the Kočani area, acting upon a previous report that on 18 July 2026 at approximately 19:00, he had physically assaulted his 37-year-old wife in the family home.

An appropriate submission will follow once the case has been fully documented.

On 20 July 2026 at 01:11, police officers from the Štip Sector for Internal Affairs deprived D.Z. (52) from Štip of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Partizanska" Street in Štip, police officers stopped an Audi passenger vehicle with Štip registration plates, driven by D.Z. Checks established that he had been driving under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 1.98‰. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 19 July 2026 at 16:20, police officers from the Negotino Department of Internal Affairs deprived D.P. (34) from Kratovo of her liberty.

During a traffic control on "Industriska" Street in Negotino, officers stopped a Seat passenger vehicle with Kratovo registration plates, driven by D.P. Checks established that she had been operating the vehicle without holding a valid driving licence. The vehicle was seized, and upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against her.

On 19 July 2026 at 17:50, police officers from the Mobile Road Traffic Safety Unit deprived N.B. (18) from Veles of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Vardarska" Street in Veles, officers stopped a motorcycle with Veles registration plates, operated by N.B. Checks established that he had been operating the motorcycle without holding a valid driving licence. The motorcycle was seized, and upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 19 July 2026 at 18:45, police officers from the Mobile Road Traffic Safety Unit deprived T.P. (44) from Veles of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Industriska" Street in Veles, officers stopped a moped with Veles registration plates, operated by T.P. Checks established that he had been operating the moped before acquiring the right to drive. The moped was seized, and upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 19 July 2026 at 21:15, police officers from the Mobile Road Traffic Safety Unit deprived N.S. (56) from Veles of her liberty.

During a traffic control on "Kole Nedelkovski" Street in Veles, officers stopped a moped with Veles registration plates, operated by N.S. Checks established that she had been operating the moped before acquiring the right to drive. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against her.

On 19 July 2026 at 20:30, a 57-year-old woman from Prilep reported that she had been physically assaulted in the family home in Prilep by her son B.Ch., who also threatened her with a sharp object.

Following the report, the suspect was hospitalised at the Public Health Institution in Demir Hisar.

On 19 July 2026 at 21:35, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs – Gevgelija Department of Internal Affairs deprived Lj.M. (67) from Gevgelija of his liberty.

According to the report, he behaved aggressively towards his 66-year-old wife, and on the previous evening physically assaulted her in the family home, causing bodily injuries. The suspect was detained at the Gevgelija Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Gevgelija was informed of the incident. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

During the night (20 July 2026 at 03:45), police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs – Gevgelija Department of Internal Affairs deprived M.M. (49) from Gevgelija of his liberty.

According to the report, during the night of 19/20 July 2026, at his property in the vicinity of Bogdanci, he physically assaulted his 44-year-old common-law partner, causing bodily injuries. The suspect was detained at the Gevgelija Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Gevgelija was informed. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

Today (20 July 2026 at 02:30), police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived B.B. (23) from the village of Studeničani, Skopje region, of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Alija Avdović" Street in Skopje, officers stopped a Volkswagen Golf passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by B.B. Checks established that he had been operating the vehicle before acquiring the right to drive. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 19 July 2026 at 22:20, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived A.Ќ.Lj. (33) from Skopje of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Samoilova" Street in Skopje, officers stopped a Ford Mondeo passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by A.Ќ.Lj. Checks established that he had been operating the vehicle before acquiring the right to drive. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 19 July 2026 at 20:10, in the village of Jurumleri, Skopje region, police officers deprived a 16-year-old juvenile from the same village of his liberty.

During a traffic control, officers stopped an Audi passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by the juvenile. Checks established that he had been operating the vehicle before acquiring the right to drive. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 19 July 2026 at 16:50, police officers from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs deprived B.V. (53) from Kumanovo of his liberty for physically assaulting his mother.

He was taken to a police station, and upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

On 19 July 2026 at 16:45, police officers from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs deprived D.S. (34) from a village in the Municipality of Staro Nagoričane of his liberty for assaulting his 31-year-old wife with a hard object.

He was taken to a police station, and upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

The Delčevo External Office for Criminal Affairs filed criminal charges against J.K. (52) from the village of Sasa, Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica, on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Fraud in Obtaining Credit or Other Benefits", and against B.K. (57) from Kočani for "Incitement" in connection with the same offence.

On 8 May 2026, at the local office of the Employment Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia in Makedonska Kamenica, J.K. falsely presented himself as B.K. and submitted, on his behalf, the mandatory registration card for unemployed persons.

Checks established that B.K., who had been receiving unemployment benefits for the period from 1 February to 5 June 2026 and was required to report in person to the Delčevo Employment Centre every 30 days, had encouraged J.K. to report on his behalf, thereby unlawfully obtaining a financial benefit amounting to MKD 37,768.

The Vinica External Office for Criminal Affairs filed criminal charges against K.S. (27) and M.S. (31), both from the village of Jakimovo, Vinica region, on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorised Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors."

On 11 July 2026, at the entrance to the village of Jakimovo, police officers searched a Volkswagen Fox passenger vehicle driven by the first suspect, during which cocaine was found and seized.

Subsequently, a search of the suspects' residence resulted in the seizure of a digital scale containing marijuana and cocaine residue, a vacuum sealing machine, and marijuana.

The Štip Sector for Internal Affairs filed criminal charges against S.D. (27) from Štip on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Endangering Safety with a Dangerous Weapon During a Fight or Quarrel."

On 20 June 2026, in Štip, a physical altercation occurred between the suspect, his neighbour B.J., and another individual who was a friend of the neighbour, during which the suspect threatened them with a sharp object.

The Probištip External Office for Criminal Affairs filed criminal charges against J.J. (40) from Probištip on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Extortion."

It was reported on 3 July 2026 that, over a prolonged period, the suspect had harassed V.N., her sister and their mother, and by using an electric shock device had extorted a total of MKD 110,000 from them on two occasions.

On 19 July 2026 at 23:30, R.Dž. (38) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at approximately 22:15, in a parking area in the Centar municipality, following a prior argument, S.N. (female) sprayed her in the eyes with pepper spray.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 19 July 2026 at 18:00, the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report from a public child care institution stating that, following a previous argument, a 15-year-old juvenile had physically assaulted a 14-year-old juvenile, both residents of the institution.

On 19 July 2026 at approximately 20:00, M.E. (37) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at approximately 19:00, in the Shuto Orizari area, her cousins M.S., Ќ.S. and Sh.S. had physically assaulted her minor son.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 19 July 2026 at 18:00, M.J. (29) reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at approximately 14:45, near Dolna Matka, following a disagreement over parking, he had been physically assaulted by N.I. (30) from Skopje.

On 20 July 2026 at 00:15, on "Vlado Maleski" Street in Struga, police officers from the Struga Department of Internal Affairs deprived I.K. (36) from the village of Veleshta, Struga region, of his liberty after he behaved aggressively towards a police officer who was carrying out official duties.

Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

On 19 July 2026 at 14:15, in a village in the Ohrid region, I.Sh. (45) from the same village was deprived of his liberty following a previous report that he had physically assaulted his wife in the family home.

On 19 July 2026 at 04:05, police officers from the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs deprived I.N. (30) from Ohrid of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that he had disturbed public order and peace in the family home by playing loud music.

He also behaved aggressively towards the police officers while they were performing official duties. It was established that he had a blood alcohol concentration of 1.78‰.

On 20 July 2026 at approximately 00:50, I.M. reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that, in the Dračevo area, B.V. had contacted her by telephone using her minor son's mobile phone and informed her that he had detained her two minor children, who had previously been with a group of juveniles playing and throwing stones in the street.

According to the report, he placed the children in his vehicle, intending to take them to a police station, and physically assaulted them.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 19 July 2026 at approximately 23:40, a 41-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 23:00, while she was at home together with her 36-year-old partner and her minor child, her two sons from a previous marriage and their girlfriends came to the house and physically assaulted them.

According to the report, they recorded the incident with a mobile phone and, before leaving, took her mobile phone.
