On 30/31.07.2026 in Skopje, at various locations, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs (SVR Skopje) deprived I.M. (34), I.E. (22), A.S. (30), R.K. (25), A.P. (30), N.Ch. (32), all from Skopje, as well as O.V. (18) from the village of Stajkovci, Skopje region, P.M. (31) from the village of Miravci, Gevgelija region, and F.S. (31) from Turkey of their liberty because marijuana, a white lumpy substance and a white powdery substance were found and seized from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against them.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 06:45, it was reported to SVR Bitola that at a pedestrian crossing on "1 Maj" Boulevard in Bitola, a Lada passenger vehicle with Bitola registration plates, driven by P.Š. (70) from Bitola, struck M.M. (59) from Bitola. In the accident, M.M. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the hospital in Bitola. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SVR Bitola.

 

The Kočani Police Department (OVR Kočani) filed a criminal complaint against D.V. (31) from Kočani due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "bodily injury." On 21.07.2026, following a prior argument in the family home, the suspect physically assaulted his father.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 20:15 in the village of Neprošteno, Tetovo region, police officers from the Tearce Police Department deprived R.S. (20) from the village of Džepčište of his liberty because marijuana was found and seized from him. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

 

On 30.07.2026, it was reported to SVR Veles that at around 08:20, on the express road section from Gradsko towards Prilep, near Gradsko, a traffic accident occurred between an Audi passenger vehicle with Bitola registration plates, driven by A.D. (44) from Bitola, and a Hyundai passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by D.Gj. (48) from Skopje. In the accident, the driver of the Hyundai and O.G. (45) from Skopje, a passenger in the same vehicle, sustained serious bodily injuries, while S.D. (50) and S.P.P. (42), both from Skopje, passengers in the Hyundai, as well as the driver of the Audi and the passengers M.D. (18), A.M. (18) and two 17-year-olds, all from Bitola, sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Veles. A public prosecutor was notified, and an on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SVR Veles.

 

The External Office for Criminal Affairs Gostivar filed a criminal complaint against F.A. (39) from the Gostivar region due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "bodily injury." On 06.07.2026, following a prior argument in the family home, the suspect physically assaulted his wife and his child.

 

Today (31.07.2026) at 01:10 in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived a 15-year-old from Skopje of his liberty. During a traffic control on Gjorgji Kapčev Street in Skopje, police officers stopped a Land Rover passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, during which it was established that the minor was driving the vehicle before acquiring the legal right to drive. A public prosecutor for juveniles was informed of the incident, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will follow.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 06:55, it was reported to SVR Bitola that at the intersection of "1 Maj" Boulevard and Kiro Dimitrov Street in Bitola, a traffic accident occurred between an Audi passenger vehicle with Bitola registration plates, driven by A.H. (38) from Bitola, and a Hamachi moped, ridden by M.M. (42) from Bitola. In the accident, the moped rider sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the hospital in Bitola. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SVR Bitola.

 

SVR Kumanovo filed a criminal complaint against A.A. (28) from Serbia due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors." On 25.07.2026, at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, during border control and a search of the suspect, hashish was found and seized.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 12:00 in a village in the Strumica region, police officers from SVR Strumica deprived a 27-year-old resident of the village of his liberty. According to the report, at around 08:00 in the family home, he physically assaulted his 25-year-old wife. The person was detained at the Strumica Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Strumica was informed of the incident. After the case is documented, an appropriate criminal report will be filed.

On 30.07.2026 at 16:30, it was reported to the Struga Police Department (OVR Struga) that on the regional road Struga–Debar, at a location known as "Labuniški Livadi", a MAN truck with Struga registration plates, driven by R.P. (56) from Vevčani, veered off the roadway and overturned. In the accident, the driver sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the "St. Erasmus" Special Hospital in Ohrid. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from OVR Struga.

 

SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against B.S. (23) from Skopje due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors." On 26.07.2026, police officers conducted a search of a building in the village of Brnjanci, where the suspect was found, and cocaine, money in various denominations and mobile phones were found and seized from him.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 14:10, it was reported to the Berovo Police Department (OVR Berovo) that while carrying out work duties for the Public Enterprise "National Forests" – Regional Forest Management Unit "Maleshevo"-Berovo, employee S.J. (61) from the village of Mitrašinci, Berovo region, sustained serious bodily injuries. According to the report, at around 08:00, at a location known as "Berovo Lake", S.J. was with two colleagues and at one point approached a trailer where one of his colleagues was loading logs and wanted to help. One of the logs slipped from the trailer and fell onto S.J.'s leg. He was transported to the hospital in Kočani where medical assistance was provided. A public prosecutor was informed of the incident, and an on-site inspection was carried out by police officers.

 

On 30.07.2026 at around 17:00, it was reported to the Kičevo Police Department (OVR Kičevo) that in the village of Bačišta, Kičevo region, at a location known as "Emrovci", a Volkswagen Polo passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by S.S. (38) from the village of Bačišta, veered off the road. In the accident, S.S. sustained serious bodily injuries, while her passengers Sh.R. (55) and A.R. (51), both from the village of Bačišta, sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Kičevo Medical Centre. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from OVR Kičevo.

 

SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against B.N. (25) from Skopje due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors." On 24.07.2026, in the village of Aračinovo, Skopje region, police officers conducted a search of the suspect's home, during which marijuana was found and seized.

 

Today (31.07.2026) at 01:45, on the local road Ilinden–Madžari, Skopje region, police officers from SVR Skopje deprived Dž.N. (32) from the village of Aračinovo, Skopje region, of his liberty. During a traffic control, police officers stopped a Volkswagen Polo passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, during which it was established that Dž.N. was driving the vehicle before acquiring the legal right to drive. A public prosecutor was informed of the incident. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will follow.

 

On 31.07.2026 at 02:20, on 18 Noemvri Street in Gostivar, police officers from OVR Gostivar deprived H.S. (34) from Gostivar of his liberty. Previously, his 36-year-old wife reported that at around 23:00, following a brief argument, he physically assaulted her in the family home and took money and the keys to her vehicle from her handbag before leaving. He was detained at the police station and, after the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will follow.

 

SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against D.P. (23) from Skopje due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors." On 08.07.2026 in Skopje, during a search of the suspect in an abandoned basement room, amphetamine, MDMA, yellow perforated blotter papers and psilocybin were found and seized.

 

The Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards within the Ministry of Interior filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption (Specialized Department for Prosecuting Criminal Offences Committed by Persons with Police Powers and Members of the Prison Police) against T.M. and I.Sh. due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Mistreatment in the performance of duty" under Article 143 of the Criminal Code.

The first suspect, T.M., a police officer at the Struga Police Station, and the second suspect, I.Sh., a Chief Police Officer for Traffic Accident Investigations at the Traffic Safety Department in Struga, on 14.05.2026, inside the premises of the Struga Police Station, while escorting a person who had previously been deprived of liberty, used excessive physical force against him. Namely, despite the fact that the person was handcuffed, the suspects physically assaulted him and struck him with their hands and feet.

The Department for Internal Control will also submit a proposal to initiate disciplinary proceedings against both officers and will impose mandatory measures consisting of confiscation of their service weapons and ammunition and suspension from duty until the disciplinary proceedings are completed.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 17:15, on Ljubica Bogeska Street in Kičevo, police officers from OVR Kičevo deprived Gj.N. (43) from Kičevo of his liberty because marijuana was found and seized from him. After the incident is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against him.

SVR Bitola – OVR Prilep filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Prilep against P.T. (53) from Prilep due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Robbery." On 27.06.2026 at around 13:00, in a shop on Vera Ciriviri Street in Prilep, the suspect threatened an employee with an electric stun gun, took money from the cash register and left the scene.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 10:30, police officers from OVR Negotino deprived D.Gj. (74) from Negotino of his liberty, acting upon a previous report by his 73-year-old wife that he had failed to comply with a decision issued by the Basic Court in Negotino imposing temporary protection measures prohibiting him from making threats of violence. According to the report, he threatened his wife and their daughter in the family home. A public prosecutor was informed and, after the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against him.

 

SVR Kumanovo filed a criminal complaint against T.H. (24) from Germany due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors." On 25.07.2026, at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, during border control and a search of the suspect, hashish was found and seized.

 

On 30.07.2026, on Filip Vtori Makedonski Street in Bitola, police officers from SVR Bitola deprived Z.S. (41) from Bitola of his liberty. Inside the entrance of a residential building on Filip Vtori Makedonski Street, he set fire to electrical cables and damaged part of the electrical installation on two floors of the building. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SVR Bitola. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.

 

SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against M.B. (23) from Skopje and N.J. (22) from Bitola due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors." On 02.07.2026 in Skopje, during the inspection of a SEAT passenger vehicle driven by the first suspect, while the second suspect was a passenger, a powdery substance was found and seized during a personal search. On 03.07.2026, a search was conducted at a building on Treta Makedonska Brigada Boulevard in Skopje, where marijuana, amphetamine, cocaine and MDMA tablets were found and seized.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 21:55, on Archbishop Mihail Street in Veles, police officers from SVR Veles deprived L.T. (18) from Veles of his liberty. During a traffic control, police officers stopped a Hamachi motorcycle with Veles registration plates, ridden by L.T., and after checks it was established that he was riding the motorcycle before acquiring the legal right to drive. A public prosecutor was informed of the incident and the motorcycle was confiscated. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will follow.

 

The Kočani Police Department (OVR Kočani) filed a criminal complaint against M.M. (38) from the Kočani region due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Bodily injury." On 18.07.2026, following a prior argument in the family home, the suspect physically assaulted her husband.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 12:30, a 37-year-old man from Veles reported to SVR Veles that his former wife, N.T. from Skopje, had continuously followed him, established unwanted communication with him and undertaken actions that caused him distress. A public prosecutor was informed and measures are being taken to clarify the incident.

 

The External Office for Criminal Affairs Struga filed a criminal complaint against K.V. (55) from the Struga region due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Bodily injury." On 16.07.2026, following a prior argument in the family home, the suspect physically assaulted his mother.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 18:05, on Gjorgji Naumov Street in Bitola, police officers from SVR Bitola deprived V.Sh. (65) of his liberty after he drove an Audi passenger vehicle with Bitola registration plates without holding a valid driving licence and was involved in a traffic accident. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow.

 

Today (31.07.2026) at 01:00, it was reported to SVR Skopje that a Volkswagen Caddy passenger vehicle with Kosovo registration plates, owned by a legal entity from Kosovo, had been set on fire on Pavle Ilić Street in Skopje. No persons were injured, and the fire was extinguished by neighbours. An on-site inspection was carried out.

 

The SVR Skopje filed a criminal complaint against S.L. (51) from Skopje due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors". On 24.07.2026 in Skopje, police officers conducted a search of the home of the accused, during which marijuana, digital scales, money in various denominations and mobile phones were found and seized.

 

On 30.07.2026 in the SVR Skopje, M.S. (59) from the village of Bardovci, Skopje region, reported that on 29.07.2026 at around 22:00, while performing work duties as a bus driver, owned by JSP, at a bus stop in the Kisela Voda area in Skopje, he was physically attacked by a person who was traveling on the bus. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

 

The Kocani Police Department filed a criminal complaint against Z.M. (40) from the Kocani region due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "bodily injury". On 18.07.2026 in the family home, the accused physically attacked his wife.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 14:10, the SVR Skopje received a report that in the Centar area of ​​Skopje, following a previous misunderstanding about a parking space, public order and peace were disturbed with a physical fight between T.P. (65) and 42-year-old R.L., both from Skopje. After fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will follow.

 

The SVR Strumica filed a report against a 17-year-old from Radoviš due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "rape of a child under 15 years of age". On 30.06.2026 in Strumica, the accused committed sexual acts on a 13-year-old girl.

 

On 30.07.2026 at 14:45, the SVR Skopje was reported that in the village of Gornjani, Skopje region, a fire broke out in a shed owned by K.P. (86) from the same village. There were no injuries, and the fire was extinguished by a team from the Skopje Fire Brigade and citizens. An inspection team from the SVR Skopje was conducted.
