On 01.08.2026 in Skopje, at several locations, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived E.Ќ. (18) from Skopje, D.R. (32) from the village of R`zhanichino, Skopje region, and E.H. (19) from Belgium of their liberty after marijuana was found and seized from them. Upon full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.


On 01.08.2026 at 20:20, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the "Mother Teresa" motorway, near the Glumovo toll station, in the direction of Skopje, involving a Mercedes passenger vehicle with Tetovo registration plates, driven by N.A. (35) from the village of Poroj, Tetovo region, a Ducati motorcycle with Skopje registration plates driven by D.A. (45) from Skopje, and a Honda motorcycle with Skopje registration plates driven by I.P. (43) from Skopje.

All three drivers sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Tetovo Clinical Centre and the "St. Naum Ohridski" Public Health Institution in Skopje. A crime scene investigation was carried out by an investigative team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs.


On 01.08.2026 at 14:20, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on "Makedonsko-Kosovska Brigada" Boulevard in Skopje, a moped ridden by a minor struck pedestrian A.Č. (84), both from Skopje.

The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, while the rider and his underage passenger sustained bodily injuries. The injuries were confirmed at the Emergency Centre within the "Mother Teresa" Clinical Complex in Skopje. A crime scene investigation was conducted by an investigative team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs.


On 01.08.2026 at 18:30, at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers deprived B.B. (49) from the Republic of Serbia of his liberty. He had arrived driving a Renault passenger vehicle with Serbian registration plates and, during border control, presented a forged driving licence for inspection.

A public prosecutor was informed, and following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 18:10, the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report from Idrizovo Correctional Institution stating that during the entry search of inmate R.E. (28) from Skopje, who had returned from temporary leave, marijuana and a powdery substance were found and seized.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will follow.


On 02.08.2026 at 01:15, on "Krushevska Republika" Street, in front of the "Petar Miloshevski" City Stadium in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs deprived D.M. (31) from Prilep of his liberty for disturbing public order and peace.

Following documentation of the incident, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 14:00, I.G. (46) from Bitola reported to the Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs that his minor daughter had been physically assaulted in Bitola by her grandfather P.D. (78).

Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident.


On 01.08.2026, it was reported to the Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs that during a search of convicted inmate V.R. (43) from Bitola at Bitola Correctional Institution, marijuana was found.

After the case has been documented, appropriate charges will follow.


On 01.08.2026 at 21:20 in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived Lj.O. (29) from the village of Drachevica, Skopje region, of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Branko Zarevski" Street, officers stopped a Ford passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates and established that Lj.O. had been driving an unregistered vehicle before acquiring the legal right to drive.

A public prosecutor was informed, the vehicle was confiscated, and following full documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.


On 02.08.2026 at 01:00, B.R. (24) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on 01.08.2026, at around 21:00, in the Centar municipality of Skopje, he and his 37-year-old partner from Kratovo were physically assaulted by three persons.

Measures are being taken to solve the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 21:50 in Kochani, police officers from the Kochani Police Department deprived R.A. (33) from Kochani of his liberty.

During a traffic control on "Todosija Paunov" Street, officers stopped a motorcycle with Kochani registration plates and established that R.A. had been operating the motorcycle without a driving licence.

A public prosecutor was informed, the motorcycle was confiscated, and after the case has been fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed.

On 01.08.2026 at 08:05, it was reported to the Gevgelija Police Station that a traffic accident had occurred on the A1 motorway, near the Bogorodica Border Crossing, involving a BMW motorcycle with Skopje registration plates, driven by S.Z. (57) from Skopje, a Passat passenger vehicle with Serbian registration plates, driven by S.M. (44) from Serbia, and a Škoda Octavia passenger vehicle driven by A.D.K. (43) from Romania.

The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Gevgelija Medical Centre. A crime scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Gevgelija Police Station.


On 01.08.2026 in Strumica, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs deprived N.V. (21) and Gj.P. (21), both from the village of Kuklish, Strumica region, of their liberty.

During a search, marijuana was found on them. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Strumica was informed, and upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 16:30, police officers from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs detained A.K. (35) from Kumanovo, acting upon a previous report that earlier that day, at around 16:00, he had threatened employees of the Kumanovo Emergency Medical Service.

Following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him.


On 01.08.2026 at 17:15 in Kratovo, police officers from the Kratovo Police Department deprived B.M. (44) from a village in the Kratovo region of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that he had physically assaulted his wife in the family home.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 23:49, on the Kriva Palanka–Kumanovo main road, police officers from the Kriva Palanka Police Department deprived G.P. (58) from Rankovce of his liberty.

During a traffic control, officers stopped a Honda passenger vehicle with Kriva Palanka registration plates driven by G.P. Checks established that he was driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of 1.51‰.

After the case has been fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed against him.


On 02.08.2026 at 02:00, police officers from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs deprived B.D. (27) from Kumanovo of his liberty after a white lumpy substance was found in his possession.

Following full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 12:15, police officers from the Kratovo Police Department deprived M.N. (34) from a village in the Kratovo region, employed as a police officer with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, of his liberty on suspicion that on 01.08.2026, while off duty, he had fired several rounds from his service pistol near a hospitality establishment in Kratovo.

He was taken to a police station, and the Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor's Office, is taking measures to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 22:06, the Gostivar Traffic Police Station received a report from the Gostivar Medical Centre that two injured persons had been brought in following a traffic accident.

Police officers established that, in the village of Debreshe, near the primary school, a four-wheeler without registration plates, driven by a 14-year-old from the village of Chegrane, with a 13-year-old passenger from the village of Debreshe, had left the roadway.

Both minors sustained serious bodily injuries. A crime scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Gostivar Police Department.


Between 23:30 on 01.08.2026 and 02:45 on 02.08.2026, at several locations in Veles, police officers from the Veles Sector for Internal Affairs deprived Dž.S. (37), V.I. (27) and H.M. (29), all from Veles, of their liberty.

During searches, a lumpy substance and four Tramadol capsules were found and seized from Dž.S., a white powdery substance from V.I., and marijuana from H.M.

A public prosecutor was informed, and following full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against them.


On 02.08.2026 at 01:10, on "Marshal Tito" Boulevard in Negotino, police officers from the Negotino Police Department deprived D.R. (47) from Strumica of his liberty.

During a traffic control, officers stopped a Hyundai passenger vehicle with Strumica registration plates driven by D.R. Checks established that he was driving before acquiring the legal right to drive.

A public prosecutor was informed, the vehicle was confiscated, and after full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 10:25, S.U. (28) from Veles reported to the Veles Sector for Internal Affairs that her brother, I.U. (45) from Veles, had come to the yard of her home and physically assaulted her.

Upon documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 19:40, police officers from the Negotino Police Department deprived M.A. (29) from a village in the Negotino region of his liberty, acting upon a previous report filed by his 50-year-old father stating that, in the family home, after M.A. had inflicted an injury upon himself with a sharp object, he physically assaulted the complainant and threatened him with the same sharp object.

Checks established that M.A. was under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of 1.98‰.

He was detained at a police station, a public prosecutor was informed, and upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him.

On 01.08.2026 at 11:30, it was reported to the Štip Sector for Internal Affairs that a fire had broken out in low-stem vegetation in the village of Sarčievo, Štip region, spreading to a sheepfold, a hay storage facility, turkeys and other property owned by R.J. (53) from Štip.

No persons were injured. The fire was extinguished by a team from the Štip Territorial Firefighting Unit. A crime scene investigation was carried out by an investigative team from the Štip Sector for Internal Affairs.


On 01.08.2026 at 20:30, the Berovo Police Department received a report from the Berovo Emergency Medical Service that a four-year-old girl from Berovo had been brought in after, according to the report, ingesting part of a laundry detergent capsule at her family home.

A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Berovo was informed, and measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident.


On 01.08.2026 at 15:30, a 77-year-old woman from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that, in the family home in the Kisela Voda municipality, she and her 59-year-old daughter had been physically assaulted by her 15-year-old grandson, who has health problems.

The minor was transferred to a medical institution, and measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 16:15, a 47-year-old woman from the Skopje region reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on 30.07.2026, at around 22:00, in the Karpoš municipality, she had been physically assaulted by her former 53-year-old partner, M.M.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 08:30, a 72-year-old woman from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on 31.07.2026, at around 20:10, at her family home in the Karpoš municipality, she had been physically assaulted by Z.J. (63), the son of her former husband, who also damaged part of the household property and took two mobile phones.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 23:30, K.A. (36) from the village of Marino, Skopje region, reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 22:30 in the village, his minor son had been physically assaulted by their neighbour, N.S. (39).

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 20:40, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that in the Gjorče Petrov municipality, S.O. (32) from Skopje had been assaulted with a hard object by K.Ѓ.P. (36) from Skopje.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 19:50, L.D. (65) from the village of Mirkovci, Skopje region, reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 15:00, in front of a retail outlet in the village of Pobozhje, Skopje region, he had been physically assaulted by V.N. from the village of Kučevište, Skopje region.

Measures are being taken to clarify the case.


On 01.08.2026 at 18:50, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that public order and peace had been disturbed in the village of Volkovo, Skopje region, by a physical altercation between V.S. (75) from the village of Volkovo and M.M. (36) from Skopje, temporarily residing in the same village.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 22:05, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that in the Gazi Baba municipality, following a misunderstanding over a parking space, public order and peace had been disturbed by a physical altercation between N.S. (32) and B.M. (67), both from Skopje, during which N.S. used a hard object.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 16:25, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at around 16:00 a fire had broken out in a cooked-food kitchen within a supermarket in the Centar municipality.

There were no injuries. The fire was extinguished by the Skopje Territorial Firefighting Unit, and a crime scene investigation was carried out by an investigative team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs.

On 02.08.2026 at 02:45, on "Marshal Tito" Street in Struga, police officers from the Struga Police Department deprived K.E.B. (20), a citizen of Kosovo, of his liberty after marijuana was found and seized during a search.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 02.08.2026 at 03:20, on "Stojan Sandeski" Street in Kičevo, police officers from the Kičevo Police Station deprived M.C. (42) from Kičevo of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that he had physically assaulted members of his family in the family home.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 10:45 in Ohrid, police officers from the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs deprived a 48-year-old man from Ohrid of his liberty after he physically assaulted his wife in a business premises located within their house. Prior to that, his wife had physically assaulted an employee working at the premises.

Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case, after which appropriate charges will be filed.


On 01.08.2026 at 09:15, it was reported to the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Kičevo–Ohrid main road, near the junction for the village of Drugovo, Kičevo region, involving a Golf passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by Sh.U. (38) from Kičevo, and a Peugeot passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by M.J. (22) from Skopje.

The driver Sh.U. and passenger Sh.U. (62) from the village of Drugovo sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the "St. Erasmus" Hospital in Ohrid. Passenger M.U. (66) from the village of Drugovo and passenger M.Č. (21) from Skopje sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kičevo.

A crime scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Kičevo Police Department.


On 01.08.2026 at 15:05, it was reported to the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Kičevo–Gostivar main road, near Kičevo, involving a Mitsubishi passenger vehicle with Moldovan registration plates, driven by P.A. (39) from Moldova, a Passat passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by R.S. (45) from Skopje, and an Opel Corsa passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by A.A. (29) from the village of Zajas, Kičevo region.

R.S. sustained serious bodily injuries, while A.A. sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kičevo.

A crime scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Kičevo Police Department.


On 01.08.2026 at 13:05 in Ohrid, police officers from the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs deprived T.R. (73) from Ohrid of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that at around 12:00, in the corridor of a residential building in Ohrid, following a misunderstanding over a parked vehicle, he pointed a pistol at G.K. (51) from Skopje, who was staying in the same building.

Subsequently, police officers from the Criminal Police Department of the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs conducted a search of the suspect's home, where they found and seized a firearms licence, a Zastava pistol, a Zastava rifle, ammunition and spare firearm parts.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.

On 01.08.2026 at 10:45 in Ohrid, police officers from the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs deprived a 48-year-old man from Ohrid of his liberty after he physically assaulted his wife in a business premises located within their house. Prior to that, his wife had physically assaulted an employee working at the premises.

On 01.08.2026 at 09:15, it was reported to the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Kičevo–Ohrid main road, near the junction for the village of Drugovo, Kičevo region, involving a Golf passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by Sh.U. (38) from Kičevo, and a Peugeot passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by M.J. (22) from Skopje.

The driver Sh.U. and passenger Sh.U. (62) from the village of Drugovo sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the "St. Erasmus" Hospital in Ohrid. Passenger M.U. (66) from the village of Drugovo and passenger M.Č. (21) from Skopje sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kičevo.

A crime scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Kičevo Police Department.


On 01.08.2026 at 15:05, it was reported to the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Kičevo–Gostivar main road, near Kičevo, involving a Mitsubishi passenger vehicle with Moldovan registration plates, driven by P.A. (39) from Moldova, a Passat passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by R.S. (45) from Skopje, and a Corsa passenger vehicle with Kičevo registration plates, driven by A.A. (29) from the village of Zajas, Kičevo region.

R.S. sustained serious bodily injuries, while A.A. sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kičevo.

A crime scene investigation was carried out by officers from the Kičevo Police Department.


On 01.08.2026 at 13:05 in Ohrid, police officers from the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs deprived T.R. (73) from Ohrid of his liberty, acting upon a previous report that at around 12:00, in the corridor of a residential building in Ohrid, following a misunderstanding over a parked vehicle, he pointed a pistol at G.K. (51) from Skopje, who was staying in the same building.

Subsequently, police officers from the Criminal Police Department of the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs conducted a search of the suspect's home, where they found and seized a firearms licence, a Zastava pistol, a Zastava rifle, ammunition and spare firearm parts.

Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed.
