On 02.08.2026, the Negotino Police Department received a report that at around 19:40, on the Kavadarci–Negotino regional road, near the locality known as “Antenite,” a Volkswagen Golf with Kavadarci registration plates, driven by A.K. (19) from Kavadarci, left the roadway after the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Kavadarci General Hospital. A public prosecutor was notified, and a police inspection was carried out by officers from the Negotino Police Department.
At around 23:00 on 02.08.2026, it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that S.M. (22) from Skopje lost control of a moped and fell onto the roadway while riding on Hristo Tatarchev Street in Skopje. The passenger, M.M. (21) from Skopje, sustained serious bodily injuries, while the rider suffered bodily injuries, both confirmed at the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex. A police inspection was conducted.
At 16:15 on 02.08.2026, a traffic accident occurred on the Ohrid–St. Naum regional road, near the junction to the tourist settlement of St. Stefan, involving a motorcycle ridden by I.A. (63) from the village of Oktisi, a Citroën with Skopje registration plates driven by K.S. (44) from Skopje, and a parked Renault with Ohrid registration plates owned by F.A. (52) from Ohrid. The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at St. Erasmus Hospital in Ohrid. Police conducted an on-site investigation.
At 18:30 on 02.08.2026, the Resen Police Department was informed by a doctor from the Resen Health Centre that, at the locality known as “Planinche,” in the area of Jankovec village, a Linhai quad bike with Resen registration plates, driven by N.T. (46) from Jankovec, carrying passengers D.K. (28) from Jankovec and a nine-year-old child from the village of Bazernik, Demir Hisar, overturned after the driver lost control. The driver and the child sustained serious bodily injuries, while the second passenger suffered bodily injuries. A police inspection was carried out.
At around 15:40 on 02.08.2026, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Goce Delchev Boulevard and Filip II Makedonski Street in Skopje, involving an Opel with Skopje registration plates driven by P.B. (62) from Skopje and a Volkswagen Sharan with Swiss registration plates driven by M.J. (41) from Skopje. Two passengers in the Volkswagen Sharan, S.R. (38) and D.R. (40), both from Skopje, sustained serious and minor bodily injuries respectively, confirmed at St. Naum Ohridski General Hospital. A police inspection was conducted.
At around 00:10 on 03.08.2026, the Sveti Nikole Police Department received a report that J.K. (35) from Sveti Nikole lost control of his Suzuki motorcycle on the regional road from Ovche Pole to Sveti Nikole. His passenger, H.K. (36) from Sveti Nikole, sustained serious bodily injuries and was transferred from the Štip Clinical Hospital to the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex for further treatment. The motorcyclist left the scene and went to the Sveti Nikole Health Institution. A police inspection was carried out.
At 16:00 on 02.08.2026, a traffic accident occurred on Zheleznichka Street in Gostivar, where a Ford Kuga with Swiss registration plates, driven by G.Đ. (35) from the village of Chegrane, struck a four-year-old child from Skopje. The child sustained serious bodily injuries and was transferred to the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by the Gostivar Police Department
On 03.08.2026 at 02:15, an 80-year-old man from the village of Lakavica reported to the Gostivar Police Station that at around 22:00 on 02.08.2026, following a brief verbal argument at his home, he was physically assaulted by his son, J.A. Measures are being taken to document the case.
At 23:05 on 02.08.2026, on Momchilo Jordanoski Street in Ohrid, M.P. (21) from Ohrid was deprived of liberty following a prior report that he had behaved aggressively towards a family member in the family home. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against him.
At 04:00 on 03.08.2026, a 44-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that she had been physically assaulted in her home in the Centar municipality by her husband, A.S. (42). Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the case.
Today (03.08.2026) at 04:00, police officers from the Strumica Police Department – Gevgelija Police Station arrested a 35-year-old police officer from Resen, acting upon a previous report that on 01.08.2026 and 02.08.2026 in Star Dojran he had physically assaulted his 36-year-old partner from Prilep and her minor son. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Gevgelija was informed and, acting on the prosecutor’s instructions, measures are being undertaken to fully clarify the case, after which an appropriate criminal report will be submitted. The Ministry of Interior’s Department for Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards has also been notified.
At 14:15 on 02.08.2026, in the village of Tashmarunishta near Struga, S.G. (52) from Struga was deprived of liberty following a report that he had committed the criminal offence of "Preventing an Official from Performing Official Duties", while also verbally insulting public officials attending an event marking 2 August – Republic Day. Following full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.
At 23:15 on 02.08.2026, police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested G.Ѓ. (54) from Skopje in the Kisela Voda area following a report that he had physically assaulted three minors and had used a hard object during the assault. After the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will follow.
At 16:20 on 02.08.2026, D.M. (40) from Skopje reported that the windshield of a Volkswagen Polo with Skopje registration plates had been damaged by a stray bullet while the vehicle was in the Gazi Baba area. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At 17:15 on 02.08.2026, the Skopje Police Department received a report that K.K. (73) from the Republic of Slovenia had entered North Macedonia through the Tabanovce Border Crossing on 01.08.2026 and had since become unreachable by telephone. Measures are being taken to locate the person.
At 10:55 on 02.08.2026, a fire broke out at a hospitality establishment in the Karpoš area of Skopje. The fire was extinguished by the Skopje Fire Brigade. No injuries were reported. Police officers attended the scene.
On 02.08.2026, acting on a wanted notice issued by the Tetovo Police Department, H.S. (27) from the village of Preljubište was arrested at Skopje International Airport in connection with the criminal offence of "Endangering Security." He was taken over by police officers from Jegunovce Police Station and transferred to the Tetovo Police Department for further proceedings. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
At 19:30 on 02.08.2026, police officers from the Kratovo Police Department arrested S.D. (41) from Kratovo following a report that at around 18:00 at the Kuklica locality near Kratovo she had physically assaulted several visitors. Acting on the instructions of a public prosecutor, she was detained at the police station and an appropriate criminal report will be filed against her.
At 01:50 on 03.08.2026, O.V. (19) reported to the Skopje Police Department that he had been physically assaulted by F.Š. in the village of Vizbegovo, Skopje area. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At 20:45 on 02.08.2026, Z.K. (50) from the village of Kuchevište, Skopje area, reported that he had been physically assaulted on two occasions by A.K. (22), who also used a hard object during the attack. After the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will be filed.
At 00:10 on 03.08.2026, the Skopje Police Department received a report that public order and peace had been disturbed in the municipality of Shuto Orizari following a physical altercation between S.K. (48) and A.K. (31), both from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

At 19:20 on 02.08.2026, N.Ѓ. (35) reported that she had been physically assaulted by M.M. (37), both from the village of Pakoševo, Skopje area. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At 22:20 on 02.08.2026, A.V. (22) from Gostivar reported that at around 02:30 the same day, on Borche Jovanoski Street in Gostivar, he and his friend L.E. had been physically assaulted by three unidentified men, approximately 25 years old. According to the report, the attackers also used hard and wooden objects during the assault. A public prosecutor has been informed and measures are being taken to identify the perpetrators and fully clarify the case.
At around 01:00 on 03.08.2026, public order and peace were disturbed in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje following a physical altercation involving D.S. (22), a 15-year-old juvenile, and another person, all from Skopje. After the case is fully documented, appropriate charges will follow.
At 23:00 on 02.08.2026, D.D. (45) from the village of Kisela Jabuka, Skopje area, reported that at around 18:15 in the village of Volkovo he had been physically assaulted by T.A. (58), M.A. (33) and Ѓ.A. (34), all from Volkovo. Later, at around 23:30, S.D. (46) from Volkovo reported that he had also been physically assaulted at around 17:55 by T.A., M.A., Ѓ.A. and B.З. (56) from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At 23:00 on 02.08.2026, public order and peace were disturbed in the municipality of Gjorche Petrov following a physical altercation between B.F. (20) and Sh.F. (19), both from the village of Rudnik–Raduša, on one side, and A.H. (42) and J.H. (62), both from Skopje, on the other. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At around 21:50 on 02.08.2026, Ž.M. reported to the Štip Police Department that D.M. had threatened him with a sharp object in Štip. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At 10:45 on 02.08.2026, a Ford Focus with Kočani registration plates, owned by Z.D. (54), was set on fire in Kočani. The fire was extinguished by the Kočani Territorial Firefighting Unit. No one was injured. A police inspection was carried out and measures are being taken to clarify the case.
At 07:54 on 02.08.2026, it was reported to the Kriva Palanka Police Department that during the night between 1 and 2 August 2026, an unknown perpetrator had forcibly entered a church in the village of Trnovo, Kriva Palanka area, stealing cash and a copper cauldron. A police inspection was carried out and measures are being taken to identify the perpetrator.
At 02:30 on 03.08.2026, on the Gostivar–Tetovo motorway near the Tučevište interchange, police officers spotted a pedestrian walking along the carriageway. The individual, O.A. (50) from the village of Negotino, was detained. A breathalyser test showed 1.65‰ alcohol in his blood, and during police procedures he insulted the officers. He was detained at the police station, and appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
At 00:20 on 02.08.2026, the Ohrid Police Department received a report that following a sports event in the village of Velgoshti near Ohrid, one person physically assaulted R.M. (55) from Vevčani and then struck him with a metal object, also damaging his passenger vehicle. N.M. and N.Š., both from Vevčani, also sustained injuries. After the case is fully clarified, an appropriate criminal report will be filed against the perpetrator.
The Struga Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against M.M. (54) from the Struga area on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Endangering Security." On 18.07.2026, at the family home, the suspect threatened his 57-year-old sister and their neighbours.
The Tetovo Police Department filed criminal charges against I.A. (49) from Tetovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Endangering Security." On 20.07.2026, the suspect threatened his wife by telephone and at her workplace.
The Skopje Police Department filed criminal charges against N.A. (65) from Skopje on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Unauthorised Manufacture, Possession, Brokerage and Trafficking in Weapons or Explosive Materials." During a house search conducted on 21.03.2026 in the village of Morani, police officers found and seized 16 mm calibre ammunition.
The Gostivar Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against A.Z. (42) from Gostivar on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Bodily Harm." On 14.07.2026, following a previous argument at the family home in Gostivar, the suspect physically assaulted his wife.
The Kočani Police Department filed criminal charges against I.R. (31) from Kočani on suspicion of committing the criminal offence of "Obstruction of Justice." On 26.06.2026, at the Basic Court in Kočani, the suspect threatened a witness.
