On 29 May 2026 at 22:21, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Nikola Karev Boulevard and Prohor Pcinjski Street in Skopje involving an Audi A4 passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates driven by N.H. (31) from Vizbegovo, a BMW motorcycle with Skopje registration plates driven by M.F. (19) from Skopje, and a Honda HDV motorcycle with Skopje registration plates driven by N.B. (21) from Skopje. M.F. sustained severe bodily injuries and was transported to the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex, where he later died. By order of a public prosecutor, driver N.H. was deprived of liberty. An inspection was conducted by a public prosecutor and an investigative team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs.
On 29 May 2026 at approximately 17:40, it was reported to the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs that in the village of Gorno Konjare, Kumanovo area, at the intersection of a local road leading to the area known as “Belo Brdo” and a local road leading to the area known as “Mlinari,” a traffic accident occurred in which I.Gj. (57) from Gorno Konjare, while operating a Kymco moped with Kumanovo registration plates, sharply turned to avoid a direct collision with an Iveco truck with Skopje registration plates driven by K.T. (61) from Kumanovo. He subsequently lost control and fell off the roadway together with the moped. The moped rider sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at Kumanovo General Hospital. An investigative team from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs conducted an inspection.
On 29 May 2026 at 19:10, it was reported to the Valandovo Police Station that on the regional road between the villages of Pirava and Josifovo, Valandovo area, a moped with Gevgelija registration plates driven by F.D. (18) from Gevgelija lost control, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The rider sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Gevgelija Health Center. An inspection was conducted by officers from the Valandovo Department of Internal Affairs.
On 29 May 2026 at 13:30 in the village of Mokrino, Strumica area, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs – Novo Selo Police Department arrested F.I. (32) from Radovish. He was wanted under a warrant to serve a prison sentence of 10 months for the criminal offense of theft. He was transferred to the Strumica Penitentiary Institution to serve the sentence.
On 30 May 2026 at 00:45, M.J. (33) from the village of Tarinci, Municipality of Karbinci, reported to the Shtip Sector for Internal Affairs that on 29 May 2026 at around 21:30, her minor son was physically assaulted by S.S. (female) at a playground in Tarinci. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 29 May 2026 at 17:55 in Probishtip, police officers from the Probishtip Department of Internal Affairs deprived Lj.N. (44) of liberty following a report that at around 16:00 he had threatened U.T. and her family. Upon full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will follow.
On 29 May 2026 at 13:28, it was reported to the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs that a fire broke out in a house in the village of Matejce owned by M.S. The fire was extinguished by neighbors. A.S. (49) and N.S. (20), after inhaling smoke, were transported to Kumanovo General Hospital. An inspection was conducted by a team from the Kumanovo Sector for Internal Affairs.
On 29 May 2026 at 14:00, police officers from the Matejce Police Department deprived N.N. (37) from Kosovo of liberty, acting upon a previously issued police bulletin from the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs in connection with the criminal offense under Article 236 of the Criminal Code (“Aggravated Theft”). The individual was transferred to and detained at Tetovo Police Station for further proceedings. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.
On 30 May 2026 at 00:15, K.K. (26) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that he had been physically assaulted by several individuals in the village of Indzikovo, Skopje area, and that a hard object had also been used. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 29 May 2026 at 19:10, A.S. (69) reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that in the village of Volkovo, following a prior traffic-related dispute, he was physically assaulted by V.S. (53), both from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 29 May 2026 at 18:50 in the Shuto Orizari area of Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs arrested M.J. (32) from Skopje following a report that he had physically assaulted E.J. (43) from Skopje and behaved aggressively toward police officers performing official duties. Appropriate charges will follow upon full documentation of the case.
On 28 May 2026 at approximately 13:50, E.M. (62) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a plastic table in the yard of a house in the Butel area had been damaged by a stray bullet. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 30 May 2026 at approximately 05:10, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a fire broke out in the Ilinden settlement in an auxiliary room housing a generator for a commercial facility located behind the building. The fire was extinguished by the Fire Protection Brigade. No injuries were reported.
The Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs filed criminal charges against B.V. (47) from Tetovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized manufacture, possession, and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials.” During a search conducted on 21 October 2025 at the home of A.V., the suspect’s son, police officers found a 7.65 mm pistol and ammunition.
The Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs filed criminal charges against L.Dj. (62) from the village of Strimnica, Municipality of Zhelino, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “endangering safety.” On 26 April 2026, during a previously arranged meeting concerning property-related issues, the suspect allegedly threatened N.I. and his immediate family.
