On 30 May 2026 at 10:45 a.m., it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that on a service road near the Gjorche Petrov Cemetery in Skopje, a Kia passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by M.P. (68), struck D.T. (75), both from Skopje. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the City General Hospital “8 September.” An inspection was carried out by a police team from the Skopje Police Department.
On 30 May 2026 at 12:45 p.m., it was reported that a traffic accident occurred on Hristo Tatarchev Street in Skopje between a Volkswagen passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates driven by R.T. (40) and a Toyota passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates driven by G.S. (22), both from Skopje. R.T. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Public Health Institution “St. Naum Ohridski.” A police inspection was conducted.
On 30 May 2026 at 2:10 p.m., near the locality known as “Seferov Bunar” on the Kichevo–Gostivar main road, a traffic accident occurred involving a Volkswagen Caddy light truck with Kichevo registration plates driven by F.K. (62) from the village of Greshnica, a Scania truck with Albanian registration plates driven by A.S. (60) from Delisufaj, Republic of Albania, a BMW passenger vehicle with Hungarian registration plates driven by V.K. (45) from Budapest, and a Fiat passenger vehicle with Serbian registration plates driven by M.G. (32) from Niš. The driver of the first vehicle sustained serious bodily injuries and, due to the severity of the injuries, was transported to the “Mother Teresa” Emergency Center in Skopje. Police officers conducted an on-site inspection.
On 30 May 2026 at 7:00 p.m., in Gostivar, on Brakja Ginoski Street, a traffic accident occurred in which an unidentified person riding an electric scooter struck pedestrian V.T. (67) from Gostivar. The scooter rider fled the scene immediately after the accident. V.T. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Gostivar Medical Center. An inspection was carried out by officers from the Gostivar Police Department, and efforts are underway to locate the rider.
On 30 May at 8:00 p.m., police officers from the Kratovo Police Department arrested A.M. (27) from Skopje after he physically assaulted a police officer performing official duties following a football match at a stadium in Kratovo. He was detained at a police station, and an appropriate criminal report will be filed after the case is fully documented. Reports for violent and disorderly conduct at a sporting event were also issued against four other individuals.
On 30 May 2026 at 6:40 p.m., police officers from the Kochani Police Department arrested B.B. (27) and P.N. (28), both from Gevgelija, because after a football match between FK Kozhuf Gevgelija and FK Borec 1919 Veles at the Nikola Mantov City Stadium in Kochani, they, as members of a supporters' group, obstructed and assaulted police officers performing official duties. A public prosecutor was informed, and appropriate charges will be filed after the case is fully documented.
On 30 May 2026 at 9:30 p.m., police officers from the Probishtip Police Department arrested J.M. (64) from Probishtip for physically assaulting a police officer performing official duties. Appropriate charges will be filed after the case is fully documented.
On 31 May 2026 at approximately 4:25 a.m., it was reported to the Skopje Police Department that in the Centar area of Skopje, M.M. (23) and D.Gj. (27), both from Skopje, were attacked with hard objects by several unknown individuals. M.M. sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 30 May 2026 at approximately 9:30 p.m., T.R. (19) from Skopje reported that in the Bit Pazar area, he, his father, brother, and seven other members of a martial arts club were physically attacked by J.R., B.E. from another martial arts club, and several other individuals who used hard, sharp, and glass objects. The victims sustained injuries. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 30 May 2026 at approximately 11:40 p.m., a 30-year-old woman reported that her cousin came to her home in the Kisela Voda area, physically assaulted her husband, and touched her inappropriately before leaving the scene. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 31 May 2026 at 3:41 a.m., a fire was reported in a retail establishment in the Chair area of Skopje. The fire was extinguished by a security employee using a fire extinguisher. No injuries were reported. Police officers from the Skopje Police Department responded to the scene.
On 30 May 2026 at 3:15 p.m., A.K. (20) from Skopje reported that on 26 May 2026, in a hospitality establishment in the Centar area where he had previously worked, he was physically assaulted by the owner following a dispute over the payment of daily wages. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 30 May 2026 at 3:30 p.m., K.T. (19) from Skopje reported receiving threatening messages via a social media profile from L.J., whom she knew previously. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 30 May 2026 at 9:34 p.m., a 40-year-old woman reported that her house in Shtip had been set on fire. The Territorial Firefighting Unit extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported. A public prosecutor was informed, and an on-site investigation was carried out by officers from the Shtip Police Department.
On 31 May 2026 at 1:00 a.m., D.G. (42) from Shtip reported that he was physically attacked by two individuals in the village of Tarinci. Measures are being taken to solve the case.
On 30 May 2026 at approximately 3:30 p.m., D.Z. (49) from Skopje reported that a stray bullet damaged the canopy of his house in the village of Orman, where a passenger vehicle was parked, causing damage to both the canopy and the vehicle. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 31 May 2026 at 2:15 a.m., near the “Oslomej Junction” close to Kichevo, E.V. (25) from Kichevo was arrested after behaving aggressively toward police officers performing official duties and then physically attacking them. Appropriate charges will be filed after the incident is fully documented.
During 30–31 May 2026, police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested M.Zh. (23) and D.G. (29), both from Skopje, after marijuana, a white lumpy substance, and a white powdery substance were found and seized from them. Appropriate charges will follow after the cases are fully documented.
On 30 May 2026 at 10:40 p.m., police officers from the Galate Police Outpost stopped a Ford passenger vehicle with Gostivar registration plates in the village of Gradec, driven by M.Z. (22), with H.Sh. (25), both from Gradec, as a passenger. During a search of the vehicle, marijuana was found and seized from a cigarette pack. Both individuals were arrested and detained for further proceedings, and appropriate charges will be filed.
On 30 May 2026 at 9:25 a.m., the Demir Hisar Police Department received a report that I.G. from the village of Dedino, Radovish region, had been found deceased in the Psychiatric Hospital in Demir Hisar, where he had been a patient. An inspection was conducted by officers from the Bitola Police Department, and a public prosecutor ordered an autopsy.
The Delchevo Criminal Affairs Office filed criminal charges against D.P. (50) from Delchevo on suspicion of committing the criminal offences of “failure to remove danger” and “failure to participate in eliminating a general danger.” On four occasions, an adviser from the Department for Weapons, Explosives and Hazardous Materials in Shtip–Delchevo instructed and ordered the suspect to remove his Opel Meriva passenger vehicle from a parking area next to an LPG fuel station and a storage container for LPG cylinders, in order to prevent danger to human life, health, or significant property. The suspect refused to comply and failed to remove the vehicle.
The Bitola Police Department filed criminal charges against N.R. (22), M.I. (19), O.N. (19), L.G. (19), A.D.V. (18), and a 15-year-old minor, all from Bitola, on suspicion of committing the criminal offences of violence, misuse of personal data, unauthorized recording, and vigilantism. From February 2025 onward, the suspects allegedly acted as an organized group, creating fake social media profiles posing as a 14-year-old girl and establishing communication with male individuals. They arranged meetings at various locations in Bitola, where the victims were intercepted by group members, recorded without consent, insulted, humiliated, psychologically abused, and forced to make statements identifying themselves as “pedophiles.” The videos and personal data were then publicly posted on social media, causing the victims fear, humiliation, and a sense of insecurity.
