On 24/25 January 2026 at various locations in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived D.B. (23), E.K. (20), M.K. (29), all from Skopje, a 17-year-old from the village of Volkovo in the Skopje area, and A.Sh. (33) from the village of Lipkovo, Municipality of Lipkovo, of liberty, after marijuana and a grinder were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the cases, appropriate submissions will follow.
On 25 January 2026 at 00:20, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs deprived E.Q. (25) and A.Q. (18), both from the village of Singelić in the Skopje area, of liberty, after white powdery substance, marijuana, money in various denominations, and mobile phones were found and seized from them. After full documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against them.
On 24 January 2026 at 20:35 in the village of Smolari, Strumica region, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs deprived M.M. (48) from the village of Draževo, Strumica region, of liberty. At around 20:30 in the village of Smolari, he behaved aggressively toward police officers performing official duties and at one point physically assaulted one of them. M.M. was detained at the Strumica Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Strumica was informed of the incident. After documentation of the case, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
On 24 January 2026 at 10:00, the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report that on Partizanski Odredi Street in Skopje, in a retail facility owned by M.D. (50) from Skopje, an aggravated theft had been committed, during which money, tablets, and a mobile phone were stolen. Measures are being taken to clear up the case.
On 24 January 2026 at 18:40, the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report from the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Center in Skopje that D.S. (73) from Kriva Palanka had been brought in with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, he sustained the injuries while performing work-related duties in the Gazi Baba area of Skopje. An on-site inspection was conducted by police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs, and a labor inspector was notified of the incident.
On 24 January 2026 at 12:00, the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report that within the cemetery grounds in the Gjorče Petrov area of Skopje, following a prior misunderstanding regarding a parking space, public order and peace were disturbed by a physical altercation between J.F.S. (38) and D.S. (33), both from Skopje. J.F.S. used a wooden object, while D.S. physically assaulted the mother of J.F.S., S.F. (60). On 24 January 2026 at 20:43, the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report from K.Sh. (66) from Skopje that in the Kisela Voda area of Skopje, following a prior misunderstanding, he was physically assaulted by his neighbor N.M. (44) from Skopje.
