On January 23, 2026, at 11:20 a.m., SIA Tetovo was notified of a traffic accident on the regional road Tetovo–village of Jazhince, near the village of Slatino, involving two passenger vehicles “Mercedes” with Tetovo registration plates, driven by A.I. (33) from the village of Dobroshtë, Tetovo area, and A.H. (36) from the village of Nerashtë, Tetovo area. Both drivers sustained serious bodily injuries, while a passenger, B.A. (26) from the village of Nerashtë, sustained bodily injuries, all confirmed at the Clinical Hospital Tetovo. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SIA Tetovo.

During January 23/24, 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from SIA Skopje deprived S.E. (18), A.A. (21), B.S. (33), and N.T. (37), all from Skopje, of liberty after white powdery substances and marijuana were found and seized from them. Following full documentation of the cases, appropriate reports will be submitted.

On January 24, 2026, at 12:15 a.m., at the intersection of “Drage Karbuničanec” and “Prilepska” streets in Kičevo, A.A. (31) and B.M. (20), both from Kičevo, were deprived of liberty. The reported persons first verbally and then physically assaulted uniformed police officers who were conducting traffic control and had stopped a passenger vehicle “BMW” driven by A.A. After full documentation of the incident, appropriate charges will be filed against them.

On January 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Dolno Blace Border Crossing, during entry into the country, police officers deprived M.F. (55) from Skopje, a German citizen, of liberty. During border control, it was established that the person was subject to a measure “arrest” at the request of the Sector for International Police Cooperation Tetovo. M.F. was handed over to police officers from SIA Tetovo for further procedure.

On January 23, 2026, at 10:40 p.m., M.E. (48) from Skopje reported to SIA Skopje that around 6:30 p.m., at a parking area in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, following a misunderstanding over a parking space, she was physically assaulted by a female person. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On January 22, 2026, at 5:20 p.m., Z.B. (54) from Skopje reported to SIA Skopje that in the period from January 18 to January 22, 2026, a serious theft was committed at his weekend house in the village of Brazda, Skopje area, during which a pneumatic air rifle, brand “Hatsan,” model “AIR TACT ED,” and money were stolen. Measures are being taken to resolve the case.

On January 23, 2026, at 10:30 p.m., N.B. (44) from the Ilinden settlement, Municipality of Ilinden, reported that around 8:00 p.m., at a parking area in the village of Marino, Skopje area, following a prior misunderstanding, his 14-year-old son was physically assaulted by three juveniles he knew, one of whom used a metal object. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On January 23, 2026, at 11:20 p.m., B.I. (18) from Skopje reported that on January 22, 2026, around 11:45 p.m., in front of the entrance of his residential building in the Chair area of Skopje, he was physically assaulted by several persons. Measures are being taken to resolve the case.

On January 23, 2026, at 11:40 a.m., police officers from SIA Skopje deprived D.A. (27) from the Skopje area of liberty, acting upon a prior report by his 60-year-old father, who stated that on January 22, 2026, around 12:30 a.m., he received threatening messages on his mobile phone concerning his life and the life of his spouse. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against D.A.

On January 22, 2026, S.K. (39) from Skopje reported to SIA Skopje that between 3:00 p.m. and 7:40 p.m., a serious theft was committed in his family house in the Chair area of Skopje, during which 120,000 denars, gold jewelry, and a laptop were stolen. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SIA Skopje, and measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On January 23, 2026, at 1:14 p.m., SIA Skopje was notified of a fire that broke out at a private vehicle service company on “3rd Macedonian Brigade” Boulevard in Skopje, owned by B.S. (52) from Skopje. Medical assistance was provided on site to B.S. by an emergency medical team due to smoke inhalation. An on-site inspection was carried out by an investigative team from SIA Skopje.

On January 21, 2026, at 11:45 a.m., police officers from SIA Štip detained T.J. (44) from Kočani, acting upon a prior report that on January 5, 2026, in the family home, he physically assaulted his 16-year-old daughter with a hard object and took her mobile phone. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

SIA Ohrid filed a criminal complaint against M.T. (40) from the village of Leskoec, Ohrid area, due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense “Attempted Murder” under Article 123 of the Criminal Code. On December 30, 2025, around 1:00 a.m., on a local road near the village of Livada, Struga area, he fired a pistol at a parked “Golf” vehicle and inflicted serious bodily injuries on the driver J.D.P. (40) from Ohrid, confirmed at the General Hospital in Struga. He then, by threatening the female passenger, forced her to enter his vehicle.

On January 23, 2026, at 8:50 a.m., an 86-year-old woman from Vinica reported to the Vinica Police Station that she had been defrauded of 30,000 euros. According to the report, she was contacted by phone by a person who presented himself as a doctor from Slovenia and told her that her daughter, who was temporarily working in Slovenia, had sustained serious injuries and required surgery, for which a certain sum of money was needed. Believing the story, she withdrew the money from a bank and, as instructed, handed it over in the yard of her family home to a person sent to collect it. After later speaking with her daughter, she realized she had been deceived. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
