On 25.01.2026 at 20:30, the Radovish Police Station was reported to have caught fire on a bus parked in the yard of the "Krste Petkov Misirkov" Primary School in Radovish. The fire was extinguished by the team of the Radovish Territorial Fire Department, and no one was injured. After taking measures, the police officers determined that the fire was caused by two minors from Radovish. They were interviewed in the presence of their parents, during which they confessed to the crime, and the lighter used to cause the fire was also confiscated. A public prosecutor from the Strumica Basic Public Prosecutor's Office has been informed and after documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed.
On 26.01.2026 at 03:15 at the Deve Bair Border Crossing, at the entrance to the country, police officers deprived I.J. (39) from Turkey of his liberty, because during the border control it was found that he presented forged green cards for a Mercedes truck with a semi-trailer, which he was driving. He was handed over to police officers from the Kriva Palanka Internal Affairs Directorate for further proceedings and after fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.
On 25.01.2026 at 18:12 at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, at the exit from the country, police officers deprived P.M.F.B. (29) from Cameroon of his liberty, because during the border control it was found that he presented someone else's French identity card, which was registered as a wanted person by Interpol. After the check, it was determined that he was registered in the Reception Center - Vizbegovo, and stated that he had purchased the French ID card from a person from Skopje for the amount of 1000 euros. He was handed over to police officers from the SVR Kumanovo for further proceedings and after fully documenting the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.
SVR Veles filed a criminal report against Zh.T. (19) from Veles due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of committing a crime of "unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors". On 24.07.2025 in the City Park in Veles, police officers from the SVR Veles conducted a search of two people, from whom marijuana was found and confiscated, which they had previously purchased from the person reported.
