On 22 August 2026 at 18:50, the Gostivar Police Department received a report from the Gostivar Medical Center that a motorcyclist had been brought in with serious bodily injuries. Following checks, it was established that the injured person was N.J. (64) from the village of Vrutok, Gostivar area. While riding a motorcycle with Gostivar registration plates, he lost control and fell on a forest road in the area of the village of Jelovce. An on-site inspection was carried out by a team from the Gostivar Police Department.
Today (23 August 2026) at 05:45, the Skopje Police Department received a report that gunshots had been heard on Street 18 in the village of Aracinovo.
