(25) from Skopje on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 17 June 2026, on the Kichevo–Ohrid main road, police officers searched a Ford passenger vehicle owned by the suspect and found and seized marijuana and a grinder.
The Ohrid Police Department filed criminal charges against N.T. (44) from the village of Velgoshti, Ohrid region, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “illegal construction.” The suspect built a house on his property without first obtaining a construction permit issued by the competent authority.
The Shtip Police Department filed criminal charges against G.P. (52) from Shtip on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “grievous bodily harm.” On 14 May 2026 in Shtip, the suspect physically assaulted D.T. and inflicted injuries on him.
The Ohrid Police Department filed criminal charges against M.K. (41) from Debar on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “usurpation of real estate.” During 2024, on part of a state-owned cadastral plot with an area of 7,045 square meters, the suspect unlawfully occupied land by placing an auxiliary structure without the required permit, contrary to the Construction Law.
The Shtip Police Department filed criminal charges against J.S. (67) from Kochani on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “violence against a child.” On 17 May 2026, the suspect physically assaulted a minor and caused injuries.
The Ohrid Police Department filed criminal charges against D.T. (38) from Skopje on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 3 August 2025, police officers searched the suspect and found and seized cocaine.
The Internal Control, Criminal Investigations and Professional Standards Department of the Ministry of Interior filed criminal charges with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption against B.T. on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “disclosure of an official secret.” On 16 May 2025, while performing official duties and exercising police powers in relation to a reported criminal offense, the suspect, a police officer at the Prilep Criminal Affairs Office, obtained information classified as an official secret in a pre-investigation procedure. On 19 May 2025, during a private communication via a mobile application, he shared the information with the defense attorney of a suspect in the case, including statements given by detained persons who had been placed in custody and information concerning issued orders for the apprehension of a person.
On 23 June 2026 at 02:10, on Zheleznichka Street in Gostivar, police officers from the Gostivar Police Station arrested S.S. (25) from Gostivar after finding and seizing a white powdery substance. He was detained at a police station, and appropriate charges will be filed after the case is fully documented.
On 22 June 2026, the Veles Police Department received a report that at around 11:00 on Rashtanski Pat Street in Veles, a Volvo truck with Skopje registration plates and a trailer with Veles registration plates, driven by S.D. (55) from Veles, struck pedestrian O.Gj. (54) from Veles. The pedestrian died at the scene from the injuries sustained, and death was confirmed by an emergency medical doctor from Veles. The driver was arrested, and a public prosecutor and police investigation team conducted an on-site inspection. By order of the prosecutor, the body was sent for autopsy.
On 22 June 2026, the Prilep Police Department received a report of a traffic accident at the intersection of Prilepski Braniteli Street and Pere Toshev Street in Prilep involving a Volkswagen Passat with Prilep registration plates driven by O.B. (49) from Prilep and an electric scooter ridden by a 16-year-old girl. The minor sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Prilep City Hospital. An inspection was conducted by police officers from the Prilep Police Department.
On 22 June 2026 at around 13:50, the Kochani Police Department received a report from the Kochani Emergency Medical Service that J.S. (34) from the village of Tripatanci, Probishtip region, had been admitted with injuries. According to the report, she sustained the injuries while performing work duties at a private company in the industrial zone of Kochani. An inspection was carried out by police officers and representatives of the State Labour Inspectorate.
On 22 June 2026 in Skopje, in the Gazi Baba area, police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested V.S. (35) from Skopje after finding and seizing marijuana. Appropriate charges will follow upon completion of the investigation.
On 23 June 2026 at 02:55, the Kriva Palanka Police Department received a report from the Kriva Palanka Health Center that M.D. (48) from the village of Kiselica had been brought in for medical treatment. According to the report, he sustained injuries while performing work duties at a mine in Kriva Palanka. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 22 June 2026 at 21:20, I.T. (39) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that at around 19:30, in the Gazi Baba area, his minor son had been attacked with a hard object by another person. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 22 June 2026 at 18:35, I.T. (55) from Skopje reported that at around 17:00 in the village of Trubarevo, Skopje region, he had been attacked with a hard object by his neighbor Lj.M. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 22 June 2026, M.R. (29) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that in the Shuto Orizari area he had been attacked with a hard object by A.H. Appropriate action will follow after the case is fully documented.
On 22 June 2026 at around 14:30, the Gevgelija Police Department received a report of a fire at a retail facility on Industriska Street in Gevgelija. The fire was extinguished by firefighters from the Gevgelija Territorial Firefighting Unit. During the intervention, one firefighter inhaled smoke and was transported to the Gevgelija Medical Center, where he received treatment. An inspection was conducted.
On 23 June 2026 at around 02:50, the Skopje Police Department received a report that in the village of Batinci, Skopje region, a fire had broken out in the yard of a house involving a parked Volkswagen Golf with Skopje registration plates owned by M.Dj. (22). The fire was extinguished by the Skopje Fire Protection Brigade. No injuries were reported, and an inspection was conducted.
On 22 June 2026 at around 23:05, the Skopje Police Department received a report that in the Gazi Baba area, a minor had been physically assaulted by three persons, one of whom injured him with a sharp object. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
The Ohrid Police Department filed criminal charges against R.M. (66) from Debar on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of “illegal construction” and “usurpation of real estate.” During 2025, on a state-owned cadastral plot and on part of a cadastral plot known as “Bademi” in Debar, covering 5,999 square meters, the suspect fenced off the area and constructed a building without obtaining a construction permit from the competent authority, thereby causing damage to the state budget.
