Police Reports and Incidents – 22 June 2026

The Bitola Regional Police Department filed criminal charges against V.M. (29) from Bitola on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors. On 31 July 2025, police officers in Bitola searched an individual and found and seized marijuana, which had allegedly been purchased from the suspect.

The Štip Regional Police Department filed criminal charges against K.S. (42) from Štip on suspicion of serious bodily injury. On 10 May 2026, in front of a casino in Štip, the suspect physically assaulted E.V., causing injuries.

The Vinica Police Department filed criminal charges against P.T. (34) from a village in the Vinica area on suspicion of endangering security. On 4 June 2026, in the yard of the family home, the suspect physically assaulted his father.

On 21 June 2026 at 15:45, a traffic accident was reported on the Prilep–Bitola road involving a Toyota with Bitola registration plates driven by D.R. (24) from Musinci village, Municipality of Mogila, a Seat with Kavadarci registration plates driven by V.M. (54) from Bitola, and a Mazda with Skopje registration plates driven by G.M. (51) from Skopje. V.M. sustained serious bodily injuries, while her passengers S.V. (37), N.V. (40), and two minors, all from Vozarci village near Kavadarci, as well as drivers D.R. and G.M., suffered injuries. The injuries were confirmed at the Prilep City Hospital. A police inspection was carried out by officers from the Prilep Police Department.

On 22 June 2026 at 02:10, a traffic accident was reported on Orde Čopela Street in Prilep, where a Volkswagen Polo with Prilep registration plates driven by D.M. (21) from Prilep left the roadway. The driver sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Prilep City Hospital. An investigation was conducted by officers from the Prilep Police Department.

On 21 June 2026 at 10:30, the Tetovo Regional Police Department received a report that on the Mavrovo–Debar road, near the Bigorski Monastery, German citizen K.B. (55), while riding a motorcycle with German registration plates, lost control and went off the road. The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries and was treated at the Medical Center in Gostivar. Officers from the Gostivar Police Department conducted an on-site investigation.

The Tetovo Regional Police Department filed criminal charges against a 49-year-old man from a village in the Municipality of Brvenica on suspicion of endangering security. On 5 April 2026, the suspect allegedly made threatening phone calls to his wife, from whom he is currently undergoing divorce proceedings.

The Bitola Regional Police Department filed criminal charges against O.N. (40) from Bitola on suspicion of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors. On 1 February 2026, police searched his home and found and seized MMB-CHMICA, a synthetic cannabinoid.

On 22 June 2026 at 00:10, the Skopje Regional Police Department was informed by the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution that G.J. (31) from Skopje had been admitted with injuries caused by a sharp object. According to the report, at around 23:35 in the Bit Pazar area, he was physically assaulted by several individuals, including a minor who allegedly used a sharp object. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

At approximately 02:50 on 22 June 2026, it was reported that in an accommodation facility in Vizbegovo near Skopje, two individuals threatened an employee with a sharp object and stole money. Police are taking measures to identify the perpetrators.

At approximately 23:50 on 21 June 2026, a robbery was reported in a pharmacy in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, where an individual threatened an employee and stole a metal cash box containing money. Measures are being taken to solve the case.

On 21 June 2026 at 10:32, N.N. (49) from Skopje reported that around 05:00 in the Centar area, an individual used physical force to steal his mobile phone. The case is under investigation.

On 21 June 2026 at 14:00, I.A. (52) from Skopje reported that on 20 June 2026 at around 23:00, his minor son was physically assaulted by an individual at a bus stop in the Centar area. Measures are being taken to clarify the incident.

On 21 June 2026 at around 11:00, B.O. (29) from Paligrad village near Skopje reported that he had been physically assaulted in Batinci village by M.S. (30) from Studeničani village. After the case is fully documented, appropriate legal action will follow.

On 21 June 2026 at 15:05, R.R. (35) from Studeničani village reported finding a stray bullet at the entrance of his home. The projectile had pierced the metal sheet covering the stairs and entrance area. Police are taking measures to determine the circumstances of the incident.
