SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against H.M. (48) from the village of Novo Selo, Bogovinje Municipality, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "forgery of a document." On 20 February 2026, on the regional road Tetovo–Volkovija, police officers stopped and checked a Citroën passenger vehicle driven by the suspect. During the inspection, it was established that the driver's license he presented was forged.
SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against M.L. (51) from Tetovo on suspicion of the criminal offense of "usurpation of real estate." During 2025, acting as an investor, the suspect carried out construction work on plots owned by the Republic of North Macedonia in the territory of Tetovo Municipality without obtaining the required permit from the competent municipal authority.
SVR Tetovo filed a criminal complaint against Z.J. (33) from Gostivar on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "fraud." In February 2026, the suspect allegedly misled a 29-year-old man from the Gostivar area, claiming that for €2,330 he would assist him with customs clearance for a motorcycle imported from Switzerland.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Gostivar filed a criminal complaint against Z.Ğ. (71) from Gostivar on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "bodily injury." On 25 May 2026, at their family home, the suspect threatened his 69-year-old wife, and on 26 May 2026 he physically assaulted her.
SVR Kumanovo filed a criminal complaint against J.Ğ. (28) from Kriva Palanka on suspicion of the criminal offense of "obstructing an official person in the performance of official duties." On 20 May 2026, at a location known as "Kalin Kamen" in the village of Krklja, Kriva Palanka area, the suspect threatened employees of the Food and Veterinary Agency and then attempted to prevent them from carrying out their duties by using a hard object.
On 23 June 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., at the Tabanovce Border Crossing on entry into the country, police officers arrested J.M.Š. (19) from Austria. During a search of a Toyota passenger vehicle with Austrian registration plates, in which he was traveling as a passenger, officers found and seized packages containing marijuana, a liquid substance, and two pipes in his backpack. He was detained at a police station, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate charge will be filed against him.
On 23 June 2026 at 6:20 p.m., SVR Skopje received a report that on Rilski Kongres Street in Skopje, following a traffic-related dispute, a person driving a Peugeot with Skopje registration plates struck a motorcycle ridden by G.N. (29) from the Skopje area. The motorcyclist fell as a result of the collision. After getting up, according to the report, the driver of the Peugeot moved the vehicle and repeatedly struck the motorcycle, as well as a Citroën passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates owned by V.O. (44). According to the report, G.N. then grabbed the front door of the Peugeot, but the vehicle continued moving and dragged him several meters before he fell. The driver then fled the scene. G.N. was transported to the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex for medical treatment. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
The Regional Center for Border Affairs East filed a criminal complaint against H.H. (47) and M.Č. (46), both citizens of the Republic of Turkey, on suspicion of the criminal offense of "forgery of a document." During passport control and border checks at the Deve Bair Border Crossing, the suspects presented forged green cards (international vehicle insurance certificates) for the trucks and semi-trailers they were driving.
On 23 June 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested S.S. (28), A.F. (36) from Skopje, and S.N. (30) from the village of Batinci, Skopje area, after white powdery substances, a brown lumpy substance, and marijuana were found and seized from them. Appropriate charges will follow once the cases are fully documented.
On 23 June 2026 at 2:30 p.m., police officers from SVR Kumanovo detained B.S. (32) from Kumanovo, who was wanted under a warrant issued by the Basic Court of Kumanovo to serve an eight-month prison sentence for a criminal offense under Article 130 of the Criminal Code. B.S. was transferred to the Kumanovo Correctional Institution to serve the sentence.
On 23 June 2026 at 5:10 p.m., employees of the company Bechtel & Enka reported to SVR Tetovo that they had discovered an explosive device while carrying out excavation works in the area of the village of Simnica, Gostivar region. An inspection was conducted by police officers from the Gostivar Police Department, and during the day the explosive device will be removed by a pyrotechnician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue.
On 23 June 2026 at 3:51 p.m., SVR Strumica received a report from the Strumica Medical Center that A.Č. (51) from the village of Pirava, Valandovo area, had been admitted with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, he sustained the injuries near the Vodoča Dam in the Strumica region while cutting wood, when a tree fell on him. Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
