The Police Department (OVR) Kočani filed criminal charges against M.K. (38) from Kočani on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized manufacture, possession, mediation, and trafficking of weapons or explosive materials." On August 8, 2025, police officers searched the suspect's home, where they found and seized two hunting rifles and various accessories used for manufacturing hunting ammunition.

The Department for Cross-Border Crime, Migration, Foreigners and Readmission in Kumanovo filed criminal charges against B.B. (49) and Ć.H. (55), both citizens of the Republic of Serbia, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Forgery of documents." On August 1, 2026, and August 3, 2026, at the Tabanovce Border Crossing, while entering the country, the suspects presented a forged Croatian driver's license and a forged Italian driver's license, respectively.

The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Gostivar filed criminal charges against E.O. (29) from the village of Raven, Gostivar municipality, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Violence." On July 28, 2026, in front of a hospitality establishment, following a prior argument, the suspect attacked T.M. (22) from the same village with a sharp object.

On the night of August 6/7, 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) arrested T.B. (19), E.E. (18), F.S. (42), and E.S. (26), all from Skopje, as well as J.A. (30) from Sweden, after marijuana, a white powdery substance, and a grinder were found and seized from them. Appropriate charges will be filed after the cases are fully documented.

On August 6, 2026, at 3:10 p.m., the Idrizovo Correctional Institution reported to SVR Skopje that at around 1:10 p.m., during a search of inmate Z.I. (29) from Skopje, 27 packages of marijuana were found and seized. Appropriate charges will be filed after the case is fully documented.

On August 6, 2026, at 1:40 p.m., it was reported to SVR Skopje that a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Jane Sandanski Boulevard and a service road in the Aerodrom municipality of Skopje, involving a MAN bus with Skopje license plates driven by T.P. (47) from the village of Novo Selo and a Ford Focus with Skopje license plates driven by G.J. (55) from Skopje. A 64-year-old passenger, V.V. from Skopje, sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje. A police inspection was conducted.

On August 6, 2026, at 11:15 a.m., in a village in the Vinica area, police officers from OVR Vinica arrested P.T. (34) following a report that on July 31 and August 6, 2026, he physically assaulted his 60-year-old father in the yard of their family home. Appropriate charges will be filed after the case is documented.

On August 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., at the Dolno Blace Border Crossing, police officers arrested A.I. (38) from Kosovo while entering the country. During passport control and border checks, it was established that he was listed with an "arrest" measure at the request of the Sector for International Police Cooperation – Interpol. He was transferred to the Kisela Voda Police Station for further proceedings.

On August 6, 2026, at 7:50 p.m., in the village of Brnjarci, Skopje region, police officers arrested R.S. (42) from the village of Brest. During a traffic control, officers stopped a Volkswagen Passat with Tetovo registration plates and established that R.S. was driving without having obtained a driver's license. The public prosecutor was informed, and appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.

On August 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., S.A. from Kočani reported to OVR Kočani that his 10-year-old granddaughter told him she had been psychologically and physically abused over a prolonged period by her father, and because of this, she did not want to return to live with her mother and father. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On August 6, 2026, at 2:41 p.m., SVR Štip received a report that a fire had broken out in the yard of S.N. (49) from Štip, in the village of Star Karaorman, damaging two passenger vehicles—a Volkswagen Vento and a Volkswagen Golf, both with Štip registration plates. No one was injured. The fire was extinguished by the Štip Territorial Fire Brigade, and a police investigation was conducted.

On August 6, 2026, at 11:45 a.m., on Nedžat Agoli Street in Debar, police officers from OVR Debar arrested E.R. (19) from the village of Selokući. During a traffic stop, officers determined that he was driving a Renault with Debar registration plates without having obtained a driver's license. The public prosecutor was informed, the vehicle was seized, and criminal charges will follow.

The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Gostivar filed criminal charges against two juveniles from Gostivar and V.D. (20) from the village of Bojane, Skopje region, on suspicion of "Violence." On August 2, 2026, after a prior dispute in Gostivar, they physically assaulted A.V. (22) from Gostivar and L.E. (18) from the village of Dolna Banjica using hard objects. The juveniles were immediately secured and interviewed, while V.D. was detained on August 4, 2026, after previously being arrested by the Intervention Police Unit of SVR Skopje.

The same office filed criminal charges against N.Š. (62) from Gostivar for "Violence against a child." On July 9, 2026, the suspect threw hard objects at a minor.

The same office also filed criminal charges against V.P. (41) from Gostivar for "Endangering safety with a dangerous weapon during a fight or argument." On March 30, 2026, the suspect attempted to attack I.R. (42) from the village of Čajle with a sharp object while the victim was performing his duties as an employee of the Komunalec Public Utility Company in Gostivar.

The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Berovo filed criminal charges against M.U. (46) from Berovo for "Endangering safety." During July 2026, the suspect made threats against E.Č.

On August 6, 2026, at 9:50 p.m., on 19 September Quay in Prilep, police officers arrested J.R. (27) and D.R. (26), both from Prilep, after a powdery substance was found on D.R. Appropriate charges will follow after the case is documented.

On August 6, 2026, at 11:45 p.m., in Tetovo, police officers arrested A.F. (36) from the Tetovo area following a report by his 26-year-old wife that at around 9:00 p.m., he forced her and their three minor children out of the family home and then physically assaulted her. He was detained, and appropriate charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, officers from the Regional Border Affairs Center West arrested V.V. (34) and E.V. (30), both from the village of Žirovnica, after cocaine was found and seized from them. While officers were carrying out official procedures, the suspects physically assaulted a police officer. They were brought before a preliminary proceedings judge, who imposed precautionary measures and confiscated their travel documents.

On August 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., on 8 September Street in Bitola, police officers arrested A.J. (32) from Skopje. During a traffic stop, officers determined that he was driving a Volkswagen with Bitola registration plates without a driver's license. Appropriate charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., police officers in Kavadarci interviewed G.L. (39) from Kavadarci after his 34-year-old wife, from whom he was undergoing divorce proceedings, reported that he had violated an order issued by the Basic Court in Negotino by threatening her in a restaurant in Kavadarci and preventing her from being with their minor child. Appropriate charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, at 10:20 p.m., in Veles, police officers arrested I.T. (21) from Veles. During a traffic control on Angel Mišev Street, he was found riding a moped with Veles registration plates without having obtained the legal right to drive. Acting on instructions from the public prosecutor, he was detained, the moped was confiscated, and charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, at 4:40 p.m., in a village in the Strumica area, police officers arrested a 51-year-old resident following a report that on August 1, 2026, he physically assaulted his 19-year-old son on the terrace of the family home and pushed him down the stairs, causing serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Strumica Medical Center. The suspect was detained, the public prosecutor was informed, and criminal charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., in Gevgelija, police officers arrested M.S. (31) from Gevgelija. According to the report, on August 5, 2026, at around 11:00 p.m., he behaved aggressively toward his 27-year-old former girlfriend. The public prosecutor was informed, and appropriate charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., on Goce Delčev Street in Kratovo, police officers arrested I.L. (74) from Kriva Palanka. During a traffic stop, officers determined that he was driving a Dacia Sandero with Kriva Palanka registration plates without having passed the driving test or holding a driver's license. Appropriate charges will follow.

On August 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., S.S. (35) from Skopje reported that at around 5:00 p.m. in the Centar area of Skopje, he asked an unknown man to help him withdraw money from an ATM. After the cash was withdrawn, the man used force to take the money and fled. Measures are being taken to identify the perpetrator.

On August 6, 2026, at 11:35 p.m., B.B. (30) from Skopje reported that at around 10:50 p.m. in the Aerodrom municipality, she was physically assaulted by her neighbor M.T. (35). Appropriate action will follow after the case is documented.

On August 6, 2026, at 4:30 p.m., B.L. (45) from Skopje reported that at around 12:00 p.m. in the Gazi Baba area, his minor son had been physically assaulted by another minor. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On August 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., A.A. (41) from Skopje reported that at around 2:00 p.m. in the Bit Pazar area, a passenger vehicle carrying two individuals stopped next to her minor daughter, after which one of them threatened her and stole money from her. Measures are being taken to identify the perpetrators.

On August 7, 2026, at 1:30 a.m., a 38-year-old woman from Skopje reported that on August 6, at around 8:30 p.m., in the Gazi Baba area, she was physically assaulted by her partner N.S., who also damaged her passenger vehicle using hard objects. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On August 7, 2026, at around 4:00 a.m., R.Z. (25) from the village of Glumovo, Skopje region, reported that while he and a friend were sitting in a parked passenger vehicle in the village of Saraj, two individuals on a motorcycle approached them. One of them fired several shots from a firearm at the vehicle, causing damage. No one was injured, and measures are being taken to identify the perpetrators.

On August 7, 2026, at around 1:30 a.m., police officers from the Bogorodica Border Surveillance and Border Crossing Police Station found three migrants from Afghanistan near the border with Greece. They were transferred to the Vinojug Reception and Transit Center in Gevgelija. As one of the migrants had an injury to his arm, he was transported to the emergency medical service, where doctors determined that the injury had been caused by gunfire. Measures are being taken to establish the circumstances of the incident.
