SVR Kumanovo filed a criminal complaint against R.M. (30) from Kumanovo on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors." On 18 March 2026, police officers searched a passenger vehicle driven by the suspect and found and seized amphetamine and marijuana in his possession.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs in Kriva Palanka filed a criminal complaint against A.J. (22) from Kriva Palanka on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Endangering Safety." On 15 July 2026, in Kriva Palanka, the suspect attempted to physically assault an employee of the Center for Social Work in Kriva Palanka.
On 5 August 2026, in the Karpoš area of Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested M.J.G. (25) and V.G. (35), both from Veles, after marijuana was found and seized from them. Upon full documentation of the case, the appropriate charges will be filed.
On 6 August 2026, at 1:30 a.m., on "107" Street in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo arrested S.J. (20) from Tetovo after marijuana was found and seized during a search. Upon completion of the case documentation, the appropriate charges will be filed against him.
On 5 August 2026, at 1:30 p.m., it was reported to SVR Skopje that a traffic accident had occurred on Hristijan Todorovski Karpoš Street in Skopje between a Citroën passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, driven by A.B.M. (29), and a Honda motorcycle ridden by E.A. (24), both from Skopje.
The motorcyclist and his passenger, R.I. (23) from Skopje, sustained serious bodily injuries, while A.B.M. and her minor passenger sustained bodily injuries. The injuries were confirmed at the Emergency Center of the Mother Teresa Clinical Complex in Skopje and the St. Naum Ohridski General City Hospital in Skopje.
A crime scene investigation was carried out by an investigation team from SVR Skopje.
On 5 August 2026, at 8:25 a.m., police officers from SVR Tetovo arrested V.M. (32) from Tetovo following a previous report that during the previous week he had threatened his parents with a sharp object. On 3 August 2026, after they refused to give him money, he damaged household property and attempted to attack his 61-year-old father with a sharp object.
After the case is fully documented, the appropriate charges will be filed.
On 5 August 2026, at 9:20 p.m., it was reported to SVR Skopje that at the intersection of Boris Sarafov Street and Krsto Rakovski Street in Skopje, a Fiat passenger vehicle struck A.S.K. (48) from Skopje and fled the scene.
The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the St. Naum Ohridski General City Hospital in Skopje.
A crime scene investigation was conducted by an investigation team from SVR Skopje, and measures are being taken to locate the driver and fully clarify the case.
On 5 August 2026, at 10:00 p.m., police officers from SVR Tetovo arrested A.A. (35) from the Tetovo area.
Earlier, his 31-year-old former wife reported that, despite a Basic Court Tetovo decision imposing a temporary protection order against domestic violence and prohibiting harassment, he had repeatedly threatened her by telephone. On 4 and 5 August 2026, he also harassed her at her workplace.
He was detained at a police station for further proceedings, and the appropriate charges will be filed against him.
SVR Skopje received a report from the Skopje Correctional Institution (Skopje Prison) that marijuana had been found and seized in an outdoor area of the prison.
Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the case.
On 5 August 2026, a 42-year-old woman from Tetovo reported to SVR Tetovo that at approximately 3:20 p.m. she had been physically assaulted in Tetovo by her daughter-in-law, K.M. (43).

On 5 August 2026, at 5:20 p.m., it was reported to the Department of Internal Affairs in Berovo that a traffic accident had occurred on the local road Berovo–Ablanica between a Hamachi motorcycle without registration plates, ridden by a 16-year-old from Berovo, and a BMW passenger vehicle with United Kingdom registration plates, driven by I.S. (47) from Skopje.
The motorcyclist sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kočani.
A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Kočani was informed of the incident, and a crime scene investigation was conducted by an investigation team from the Department of Internal Affairs in Berovo.
On 5 August 2026, at 11:20 p.m., in the village of Slivnik, Municipality of Čaška, police officers from SVR Veles arrested B.I. (45) from the village of Gorno Jabolčište, Municipality of Čaška.
Police officers stopped a Ford passenger vehicle driven by B.I. During the search of the vehicle, they found and seized a white powdery substance and marijuana.
He was taken to a police station, a public prosecutor was informed, and upon completion of the case documentation, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
On 5 August 2026, at 8:57 a.m., it was reported to SVR Bitola that a traffic accident had occurred on the Prilep–Bitola road involving:
- a Citroën passenger vehicle with Serbian registration plates, driven by V.K. (35) from Serbia;
- a Seat passenger vehicle with Probištip registration plates, driven by S.M. (41) from Probištip;
- a Fiat cargo vehicle with Strumica registration plates, driven by M.T. (57) from Ohrid; and
- a Fiat passenger vehicle with Skopje registration plates, driven by V.P. (32) from Bitola.
The drivers V.K., S.M., and M.T., as well as M.M. (34), S.Ž. (36), and M.Z. (35), all from Serbia and passengers in the Citroën, sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Bitola Clinical Hospital.
Driver V.P. and D.A. (35) from Probištip, a passenger in the Seat, sustained bodily injuries, also confirmed at the Bitola Clinical Hospital.
A crime scene investigation was carried out by an investigation team from SVR Bitola.
On 5 August 2026, at 10:30 a.m., police officers from SVR Kumanovo arrested I.S. (40) from the village of Orašac, Kumanovo municipality.
He was caught in the village of Orašac cutting and loading timber for which he did not possess the required documentation.
Upon completion of the case documentation, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
On 6 August 2026, at 6:10 a.m., police officers from the Department of Internal Affairs in Negotino arrested A.A. (40) from Negotino after receiving a report that he had threatened his parents.
Following the measures taken and checks carried out, it was established that A.A. was under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 1.17‰ (promille).
He was detained at a police station, a public prosecutor was informed, and appropriate charges will be filed after the case has been fully documented.
On 5 August 2026, at 2:30 p.m., on the local road leading to the village of Gorna Belica, near Struga, police officers from the Frangovo Border Police Station detained K.H. (34) from the Republic of Albania.
He was found performing work duties without a work permit for A.I. from the village of Radolišta.
He was handed over to officers from the Department for Cross-Border Crime, Migration, Foreigners and Readmission in Struga for further proceedings.
On 5 August 2026, at 6:40 p.m., in Strumica, police officers from SVR Strumica arrested N.A. (58) from Strumica after receiving a report that at approximately 6:10 p.m. the same day, in her yard, she had physically assaulted the 37-year-old former wife of her son.
She was detained at the Strumica Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Strumica was notified.
Upon completion of the case documentation, the appropriate legal submission will be filed.
On 5 August 2026, at 1:00 p.m., M.A. (46) from Kavadarci reported to the Police Department in Novaci that, at her father's home in a village in the Municipality of Novaci, she had been physically assaulted by her nephew, N.P.

On 5 August 2026, at 2:30 p.m., in the Struga village of Radožda, A.S. (56), a citizen of Germany, was arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of "Unauthorized Entry into Military Facilities and Making Sketches or Drawings of Military Facilities and Combat Equipment," pursuant to Article 350 of the Criminal Code.
He was caught using a drone to film the military border outpost in the village of Radožda, owned by the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia (ARSM), an area where filming is prohibited.
Measures are being taken to fully clarify the incident, after which appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
On 5 August 2026, at 3:50 p.m., police officers from SVR Ohrid arrested R.S. (26) from Skopje.
While on authorized leave from the Idrizovo Correctional Institution, where he was serving a five-year prison sentence, he met with his former girlfriend in Ohrid and physically assaulted her.
Upon completion of the case documentation, appropriate charges will be filed against him.
On 5 August 2026, at 5:20 p.m., it was reported to the Department of Internal Affairs in Kičevo that a traffic accident had occurred on the regional road Kičevo–Makedonski Brod, near the locality of Beli Mostoj, involving:
- a Honda passenger vehicle with Makedonski Brod registration plates, driven by E.S. (63) from the village of Lisičani;
- a Volkswagen passenger vehicle with Austrian registration plates, driven by B.Z. (31) from the village of Plasnica; and
- a Golf passenger vehicle with Makedonski Brod registration plates, driven by A.Š. (25) from the village of Plasnica.
Driver A.Š. sustained serious bodily injuries, while a 17-year-old passenger in the same vehicle and driver E.S. sustained bodily injuries.
The injuries were confirmed at the General Hospital in Kičevo.
A crime scene investigation was conducted by police officers.

On 6 August 2026, at 1:15 a.m., V.K. (33) from Skopje reported to SVR Skopje that on 5 August 2026, at approximately 4:55 p.m., while in front of the retail store where he worked in the Karpoš area of Skopje, he was physically assaulted by M.Z. and several other individuals, during which a hard object was also used.
Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.
On 5 August 2026, at 11:30 a.m., in the Aerodrom Municipality of Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje detained D.Z. (49) from the village of Jurumleri, Skopje area, because he behaved aggressively toward police officers who were carrying out official duties.
Upon completion of the case documentation, the appropriate legal submission will be filed.
On 6 August 2026, at 9:05 a.m., at the Kisela Voda Police Station, police officers from SVR Skopje arrested S.Ḱ. (29) from Skopje after acting on a previous report that on 3 August 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., in the Šuto Orizari area, he had physically assaulted his 32-year-old partner.
Upon completion of the case documentation, the appropriate legal submission will be filed.
On 5 August 2026, at 5:00 p.m., a 46-year-old woman reported to SVR Skopje that her husband, Lj.S., from whom she was in the process of divorcing, had been following her and sending her photographs through a mobile application showing the locations of her son. She further reported that, through a person who knew her son, he had also made threats against him.
Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.
On 5 August 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m., E.J. (25) from the village of Krušopek, Skopje area, reported to SVR Skopje that while traveling on the road toward the village of Krušopek, two vehicles stopped.
Two individuals exited one of the vehicles, one of whom was holding a sharp object. From the second vehicle, A.S.V. from the village of Saraj, Skopje area, exited. The complainant stated that he had previously had a disagreement with A.S.V., who then cocked a handgun and pointed it at him before striking him with the butt of the firearm.
