On 05 January 2026 at 7:15 p.m., it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on Emin Bojana Street in the village of Bojane, Skopje region, M.Sh. (47) from the village of Rogle, Tetovo region, while driving a passenger vehicle “Audi” with Italian license plates, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete wall. In the accident, a 17-year-old passenger from Tetovo sustained serious bodily injuries, while a 14-year-old female passenger from Tetovo sustained bodily injuries, confirmed at the Tetovo Clinical Hospital and the Mother Teresa Clinical Center in Skopje. An on-site inspection was carried out by a team from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs.
On 05 January 2026 at 4:05 p.m., it was reported to the Gostivar Police Station that on the Gostivar–village Gradec regional road, in the Mlaki settlement, a passenger vehicle “Mercedes” with Gostivar license plates, driven by S.J. (46) from the village of Vrapchishte, Gostivar region, struck B.S. (69) from Gostivar. In the accident, the pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Gostivar Medical Center. An on-site inspection was carried out by a team from the Gostivar Police Station.
On 05 January 2026 at 6:00 p.m., at the Dolno Blace Border Crossing, upon entry into the country, police officers deprived B.A. (58) from the Republic of Kosovo of his liberty. During border control, it was determined that he was listed with a measure “arrest” at the request of the Shtip Sector for Internal Affairs. He was handed over to police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs and escorted to the Kumanovo Prison.
On 05 January 2026 around 9:00 a.m., the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs received a report from the Public Enterprise “Parks and Greenery” – Skopje that in the period from 02 January 2026 to 05 January 2026, a serious theft was committed using physical force and tools in a barrack located in the Karposh area, property of the public enterprise. Several pieces of firearms, used by the enterprise’s security service, were stolen from a safe. Measures are being taken to clear up the case.
On 05 January 2026 at 10:10 a.m., D.J. (20) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on 01 January 2026 around 2:00 a.m., in a parking area near a hospitality facility in the Aerodrom Municipality in Skopje, he was physically assaulted by one person, who also stole his wristwatch. After full clarification and documentation of the case, an appropriate submission will follow.
On 05 January 2026 at 2:40 p.m., M.L. (54) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on Todor Aleksandrov Street in Skopje, in the yard of a private company, he found stray bullets from a firearm. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 06 January 2026 at 12:10 a.m., I.S. (25) from the village of Rakovnici, Skopje region, reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that on 05 January 2026 around 10:20 p.m., in the Kisela Voda area of Skopje, he was physically assaulted by K.P. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate submission will follow.
On 06 January 2026 at 1:31 a.m., L.M.N. (33) from Germany, residing in Kriva Palanka, reported to the Shtip Sector for Internal Affairs that on Goce Delchev Street in Shtip, he was physically assaulted by one person. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.
On 06 January 2026 at 2:10 a.m., J.J. (43) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that in the village of Batintsi, Skopje region, he was physically assaulted by N.S. (22) from Batintsi. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate submission will follow.
On 05 January 2026, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs conducted official interviews with two spouses from the Skopje region, acting upon a prior report by a 37-year-old man stating that on 01 January 2026, in the family home in the Skopje region, following a prior argument, he was assaulted by his 33-year-old wife. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed.
