On September 3, 2026, at various locations in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Department of Internal Affairs (SVR Skopje) detained D.S. (25), J.S. (25), E.A. (25), F.A. (25), and S.P. (22), all from Skopje, because marijuana was found and seized from them. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed.

During the past 24 hours, at various locations throughout the country, police officers detained E.B. (27) and M.N. (24), both from Skopje, a 15-year-old from Gostivar, Z.M. (42) from Prilep, and V.D. (60) from Bitola for “reckless driving,” i.e. because they were driving a vehicle without a driver's license. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.

On September 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in Kičevo, police officers from the Kičevo External Office for Internal Affairs (OVR Kičevo) detained E.A. (34) from Kičevo. He was wanted under a warrant based on a court order to serve a prison sentence for committing the criminal offense of “theft” under Article 235 of the Criminal Code. The person was escorted to the Bitola Prison Correctional Institution to serve his sentence.

On September 3, 2026, at 5:35 p.m. in Ohrid, police officers from the Ohrid Department of Internal Affairs (SVR Ohrid) detained Z.K. (34) from Ohrid, acting upon a previous report that he had physically assaulted his former partner. Following the complete documentation of the incident, appropriate charges will be filed against him.

On September 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at SVR Skopje, a 65-year-old woman from Skopje reported that at approximately 8:30 a.m. in the family home in the Čair area of Skopje, she had been physically assaulted by her husband, I.S. (68) from Skopje. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Kičevo External Office for Internal Affairs (OVR Kičevo) filed criminal charges against F.A. (73) from Kičevo on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “violence against a child.” On August 29, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., in a yard in Kičevo, she threw pieces of wood at two children who were playing with a ball in the yard, and then chased them around the yard with a sharp object and damaged their ball.

On September 3, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m., SVR Skopje received a report that a traffic accident had occurred on Krste Misirkov Boulevard in Skopje between a passenger vehicle, a “MG” with Skopje registration plates, driven by M.M. (29) from Kičevo, and a passenger vehicle, a “Škoda” with Skopje registration plates, owned by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and driven by N.Đ. (31) from Skopje. The driver of the “Škoda” and his passengers, T.Џ. (35) from the village of Batinci, Skopje area, and P.T. (35) from Skopje, all police officers, sustained bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Emergency Center of the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an SVR Skopje inspection team.

On September 4, 2026, at 12:00 midnight, at SVR Kumanovo, a 27-year-old woman from Skopje reported that on September 3, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Kumanovo, her husband D.P. had behaved aggressively and made threats against her. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Debar External Office for Internal Affairs (OVR Debar) filed criminal charges against Albanian citizen Š.R. (46) on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “violence.” On August 26, 2026, on Elena Gjika Street in Debar, he behaved aggressively toward two children and subsequently physically assaulted one of them.

On September 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at SVR Skopje, an 88-year-old man from Skopje reported that two males had entered his unlocked apartment in the Centar area, one of whom physically assaulted him while the other took money, personal documents, and other belongings from him, after which they fled. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Debar External Office for Criminal Investigations filed criminal charges against E.A. (29) from the village of Bajramovci, Municipality of Centar Župa, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of “assaulting an official while performing security duties,” “endangering safety,” and “damaging another person's property.” On August 28, 2026, the suspect physically assaulted police officers who were carrying out official duties, and after his detention, he damaged part of the inventory at a police station. Following checks, it was established that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol concentration of 1.82 per mille.

SVR Štip – OVR Berovo filed criminal charges against D.C. (39) from the Berovo area on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “violence against a child.” On August 5, 2026, following a previous argument, the suspect physically assaulted her minor daughter.

On September 3, 2026, at SVR Skopje, M.E., Mayor of the Municipality of Saraj, reported that on the same day, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a person came in front of the Saraj municipal building who behaved aggressively and made threats toward him and a person employed by the municipality. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

SVR Kumanovo filed criminal charges against Џ.A.S. (37) from Canada on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “taking out, i.e. exporting abroad, goods under temporary protection or cultural heritage or natural rarities.” On August 28, 2026, the suspect unlawfully acquired and appropriated a fragment of sandstone that constitutes cultural heritage, with the intention of taking it out of the country without permission from the competent authority.

On September 3, 2026, at 4:45 p.m., at SVR Skopje, S.S. (56) from Skopje, a taxi driver, reported that at approximately 3:20 p.m., in the Bit Pazar area, a person whom he had transported took a wallet containing money and personal documents from his vehicle. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Kavadarci External Office for Internal Affairs (OVR Kavadarci) submitted a criminal report to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Kavadarci against Ѓ.K. (27) from Kavadarci on reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “forgery of documents” under Article 378 of the Criminal Code. On June 4, 2026, at a notary's office in Kavadarci, he presented a forged certificate of completed primary education from a primary school in Skopje for certification, with the intention of subsequently submitting the document to a driving school in order to take the driving test.

On September 3, 2026, at 9:10 a.m. in the village of Debreše, Gostivar area, police officers from OVR Gostivar detained A.I. (36) from Gostivar, who was wanted under an order to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Article 144 of the Criminal Code. He was escorted to the Tetovo Prison Correctional Institution to serve his sentence.

On September 3, 2026, at 8:50 p.m., at SVR Tetovo, a 35-year-old woman residing in Tetovo reported that through a mobile application, her unmarried partner, who is serving a prison sentence at the Idrizovo Prison Correctional Institution, had made threats against her and their son. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On September 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., on Fazanerija Street in Gostivar, police officers from OVR Gostivar detained I.P. (60) from Gostivar, who was wanted pursuant to an order issued by the Basic Court in Gostivar to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Article 300 in connection with Article 297 of the Criminal Code. He was escorted to the Tetovo Prison Correctional Institution to serve his sentence.

On September 3, 2026, at 4:40 p.m., OVR Gostivar was informed by the Gostivar Emergency Center that an injured eight-year-old child from the village of Debreše, Gostivar area, had been brought to the facility. According to the report, in the yard of the house, the child was riding a children's motorcycle when he collided with a parked tractor trailer. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, the minor was transferred to the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje for medical treatment. A public prosecutor was informed, and an OVR Gostivar inspection team conducted an inspection at the scene.

On September 3, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. in the village of Zdunje, Gostivar area, police officers from OVR Gostivar detained A.M. (36) from the village of Zdunje, who was wanted pursuant to a court order to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Article 301 of the Criminal Code. He was escorted to the Tetovo Prison Correctional Institution to serve his sentence.

On September 3, 2026, at 10:30 p.m., at SVR Tetovo, B.Š. (47) from the village of Čelopeк, Tetovo area, reported that at approximately 6:30 p.m., while his minor son was sitting on a bench near the Cultural Center in Tetovo, a 16-year-old minor, his friend from a village in the Tetovo area, accidentally injured him with a sharp object. Later, the 16-year-old minor, accompanied by a parent and a lawyer, voluntarily reported to SVR Tetovo, where he was detained for the criminal offense of “bodily injury” under Article 130 of the Criminal Code. A public prosecutor was informed of the incident, and work is underway to fully document the case.
