On 02.09.2026, in the area of the Municipality of Aerodrom in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained V.A. (25) from Skopje after marijuana was found and confiscated from him. Following the full documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed against him.

On 02.09.2026 at 23:30, the Ohrid Police Department was notified that on the Ohrid–Kicevo main road, a passenger vehicle, a “Hyundai Getz” with Ohrid registration plates, had hit stray dogs, then crashed into the metal road barriers and caught fire. The fire was extinguished by a team from the Ohrid Territorial Firefighting Unit, and the body of the deceased driver was found inside the vehicle. By order of a public prosecutor, the body was handed over to Forensic Medicine for an autopsy and identification of the person. An inspection was carried out by a public prosecutor and an investigative team from the Ohrid Police Department. During the inspection, traffic on the main road was diverted via the Ohrid–Struga regional road.

On 02.09.2026, on “Drage Todorovski” Street in Gostivar, police officers detained M.H. (44) from Gostivar, who was wanted pursuant to a court order to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Articles 297-a and 300 of the Criminal Code. He was taken to the Tetovo Prison correctional facility to serve his sentence.

On 02.09.2026 at 19:10, the Skopje Police Department was notified that a traffic accident had occurred on “Blagoja Stevkovski” Street in Skopje between a passenger vehicle, a “Chevrolet” with Skopje registration plates, driven by S.A. (60) from the village of Pakoshevo, Municipality of Zelenikovo, and a “Mercedes” bus with Skopje registration plates, driven by S.B. (38) from Skopje. In the accident, 63-year-old S.P., who was traveling on the bus, sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an investigative team from the Skopje Police Department.

On 02.09.2026 at 21:00, on “Ilindenska” Street in Tetovo, police officers from the Kamenjane Police Department and the Tetovo Police Department detained S.R. (21) from the village of Dolno Palchishte, who was wanted pursuant to an order issued by the Basic Court in Tetovo to serve a prison sentence for a criminal offense under Articles 300 and 301, in connection with Article 297-a. The person was taken to the Tetovo Prison correctional facility to serve the sentence.

The Kicevo External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against G.S. (67) from Kicevo on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized manufacture, possession, brokering and trafficking in weapons or explosive materials.” During a search of his house in the Kicevo village of Dushegubica, police officers found and confiscated one Mauser hunting rifle, caliber 7.9 mm, and 10 rounds of live ammunition of the same caliber, which he possessed illegally.

On 02.09.2026 at 09:00, a 59-year-old woman from a village in the Gostivar area reported to the Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs that, following a previous argument, she had been physically assaulted by her husband, R.T. (65), at the family home. Later, at 12:10, R.T. reported himself to a police station, after which he was detained and held in custody. Following the complete clarification and documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 22:10, the Skopje Police Department was notified that a traffic accident had occurred at the intersection of “11 Oktomvri,” “Filip Vtori Makedonski” and “Dame Gruev” Streets in Skopje between a passenger vehicle, a “Volkswagen Golf” with Skopje registration plates, driven by M.A. (36) from Skopje, and a passenger vehicle, a “Peugeot” with Skopje registration plates, driven by V.S. from Skopje. In the accident, the driver of the “Peugeot” sustained serious bodily injuries, while the driver of the “Volkswagen Golf” and his passengers, A.I. (24) and D.P. (27), both from Skopje, sustained bodily injuries. The injuries were confirmed at the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution in Skopje and the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje. An inspection was carried out by an investigative team from the Skopje Police Department.

On 02.09.2026 at 21:35, a 28-year-old man from Gostivar reported to the Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs that at around 21:00 on “Brakja Gjinovski” Boulevard in Gostivar, his former girlfriend, V.N., verbally assaulted him and made threats against him. According to the report, she had previously harassed and followed him on several occasions. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 02.09.2026 at around 17:15, the Berovo External Office for Criminal Affairs was notified that on the Berovo–Vinica regional road, at a location known as “Farmite,” a passenger vehicle, a “Mercedes” with Pehchevo registration plates, driven by 31-year-old U.E. from the village of Crnik, Pehchevo area, overturned and hit a tree. U.E. sustained serious bodily injuries in the accident, which were confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Shtip. An inspection was carried out by an investigative team from the Berovo External Office for Criminal Affairs.

On 02.09.2026 at 12:40, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department detained G.V. (42) from Kumanovo, acting on a previous report that he had behaved aggressively at the family home in Kumanovo and physically assaulted his father. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed against him.

On 02.09.2026 at 20:10, the Prilep External Office for Criminal Affairs was notified that a traffic accident had occurred on “Brakja Mocanoski” Street in the village of Krivogashtani, Prilep area, between a passenger vehicle, a “Volkswagen Golf” with Prilep registration plates, driven by I.M. (20) from the village of Pashino Ruvci, Municipality of Krivogashtani, and a bicycle ridden by J.S. (62) from the village of Krivogashtani. The cyclist sustained serious bodily injuries in the accident, which were confirmed at the Prilep General Hospital. An inspection was carried out by an investigative team from the Prilep External Office for Criminal Affairs.

On 02.09.2026 at 18:00, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department detained D.R. (23) from Kumanovo, acting on a previous report that she had been begging with her one-month-old baby at the Romanovce toll station. D.R. was taken to a police station and, following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed against her.

On 02.09.2026 at 16:20, the Skopje Police Department was notified that, on a JSP public bus on “Krste Misirkov” Boulevard in Skopje, 67-year-old G.S. from Delchevo fell when the driver applied the brakes and sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the “St. Naum Ohridski” Public Health Institution in Skopje. An inspection was carried out and measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Kumanovo Police Department filed a criminal complaint against Z.A. (63) from Kumanovo on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Enabling the use of narcotic drugs.” On 23.04.2025, the reported person enabled his friend to use cocaine. Later that same day, police officers searched the suspect’s home, where objects containing cocaine residue were found and confiscated.

The Kumanovo Police Department filed a criminal complaint against N.J. from the village of Tromeđa, Kumanovo area, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Illegal manufacture, possession and trafficking in weapons and explosive materials.” On 17.01.2026, in the village of Tromeđa, police officers searched the suspect’s home, where 9 mm caliber ammunition was found and confiscated. He did not possess a permit for the ammunition.

During the past 24 hours, at various locations throughout the country, police officers detained five drivers for committing the criminal offense of “Reckless driving.” Three of them were driving without a driver’s license, one of whom was a minor; one driver was driving while under an active driving ban; and one driver was driving without a driver’s license and under the influence of alcohol, and subsequently drove the passenger vehicle off the road. Following the complete documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal complaints will be filed.

On 03.09.2026 at 04:20, on “Taku Dimitrovski” Street in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Police Department detained D.J. (21) from Bitola because marijuana was found on him during a search. Following the documentation of the incident, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 15:30, police officers from the Veles Police Department conducted an official interview with 31-year-old D.R. from Veles, acting on a previous report by a 59-year-old woman from Veles that D.R., who was her son’s former unmarried partner, had made threats against her by telephone and through a social media application. A public prosecutor was notified, and following the complete clarification and documentation of the incident, an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed.

On 02.09.2026, the Novaци Police Department was notified that an old, unexploded artillery shell from the First World War had been found near the farms of ZK-Pelagonia, in the territory of the village of Logovardi, Bitola area. The shell was safely removed by a bomb disposal technician from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue in Bitola.

Today (03.09.2026) at 02:20, in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained 45-year-old H.Gj. from Skopje, acting on a previous report that, over an extended period, she had psychologically and physically abused her 13-year-old daughter at the family home in the Gazi Baba area and had frequently kept her locked in one of the rooms. A public prosecutor, a juvenile inspector and the Center for Social Work were notified of the incident. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at around 13:50, the Skopje Police Department was notified that, in an apartment in the central area of Skopje, N.M. had found her mother, Ch.T.J. (50), and her mother’s husband, Sh.L.F. (37), both from China, deceased. At 00:49 on 02.09.2026, N.M. had reported them missing. A forensic medicine doctor confirmed the deaths, with no visible signs of violence, and the bodies were sent for autopsy. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

The Gostivar External Office for Criminal Affairs filed a criminal complaint against A.M. (19) from the village of Padalishte, Gostivar area, on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.” On 30.08.2026 in Gostivar, police officers searched the reported person, during which marijuana was found and confiscated.

Today (03.09.2026) at 01:40, in Skopje, police officers detained 41-year-old Z.Sh. from Skopje, acting on a previous report that at around 01:15, in front of a catering establishment in the Centar area of Skopje, she had used physical force to steal personal jewelry from a 21-year-old woman from Skopje. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 03.09.2026 at 00:45, in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained S.N. (50) from Skopje, acting on a previous report that he had participated in a physical altercation in the City Park together with his son, V.N. (20), and J.M. (26) from the village of Studenichani, Skopje area. During the incident, police officers found and confiscated marijuana from him. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 10:00 in Gevgelija, police officers from the Strumica Police Department – Gevgelija External Office for Criminal Affairs detained S.S. (41) from Gevgelija. He was wanted pursuant to a warrant to serve a detention measure for the criminal offense of “Migrant smuggling” under Article 418-b of the Criminal Code. The person was taken to the Skopje Prison correctional facility to serve the detention measure.

On 02.09.2026, the Skopje Police Department was notified that at around 08:05, in front of a catering establishment in the Centar area of Skopje, following a previous argument, public order and peace were disturbed by a physical altercation between I.I.A. (46) from Turkey, residing in Skopje, and Gj.T. (52) from Skopje. Following the complete documentation of the case, appropriate reports will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 09:10, in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained V.R. (28) from Skopje, acting on a previous report by his 33-year-old former partner that he had physically assaulted her. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 13:00, at the Skopje Police Department, M.R. (48) from Skopje reported that at around 08:30, in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, he had been physically assaulted by two persons, who used a hard object during the assault. Measures are being taken to clarify the case.

On 02.09.2026 at 17:52, M.R. (47) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that at around 15:50, in a park in the Aerodrom area of Skopje, one person had used physical force to steal a mobile phone from his minor son. Measures are being taken to fully clarify the case.

On 02.09.2026 at 20:25, the Skopje Police Department was notified that at around 20:25, in the Gazi Baba area of Skopje, following a previous disagreement, public order and peace were disturbed by a physical altercation between D.D. (51) and her husband Z.D. (55), on one side, and H.B. (34), on the other side, all from Skopje. Following the complete documentation of the case, appropriate reports will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 21:00, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained V.R. (34) from the Skopje area, acting on a previous report by his 35-year-old wife that, following a previous argument at the family home, he had physically assaulted her and smashed both her mobile phone and the mobile phone of their minor son. Following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.

On 02.09.2026 at 17:30, M.R. (55) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Police Department that on 01.09.2026 at around 19:50, he had found D.I. (18) from Kochani inside his family home. D.I. had entered the home using physical force and attempted to commit a theft. The 18-year-old was detained and, following the complete documentation of the case, an appropriate report will be filed.
